Far from being the first time in history where most folks blame or credit the govt, but very little individual action is taken
Are you advocating we start dealing with illegals on a personal and individual level? Is it appropriate to use firearms, are should we stick with lynching?
Is violence the only option you are leaving open?
We can ask them politely to leave, but without government assistance I don't see a lot of individual action that can be taken...
In 1964 or 65 immigration laws were changed and an giant loophole was put into them that allowed a large influx of people coming here. Bill Clinton put someone in a position to stop this, liberal black (women of color... please fill in you own words to make this as non racist as possible), a democrat from Texas, and in words she did. Obama talked about putting an end to folks coming over without approval. This seems to be more than a political issue. As long as folks are paying them nothing will be done. Many commercial beekeepers bring folks over yearly to work a season. These folks get paid well, and have a ton of rights and benefits that they must be given under H-2A laws. If folks were forced to pay fair amount of money for labor (no this is not a union or non union issue) it may help. Shoot, many of the workers earn an entire s year income and really do not want to stay here. Just wondering how much more difficult ( if it is) for folks that want to come here compared to other countries. Perhaps we need to take a look at our process and see if it needs to be adjusted to help the folks we want as neighbors to get here. Definitely do not have all if any of the answers, at the same time have no problem with neighbors No matter where they are from. (as far as neighbors keep some distance, no matter who it is, I do like my space lol)

You're not wrong, but I was calling attention the the juxtaposition of your initial post in which you said we bemoan the government for the immigration, but don't do anything to fix it on the individual level. The simple fact is that there is nothing we can do about it on the individual level excepting violence. All of the possible answers here go back to the government.

I hear it's all because the left won't vote yes on the bill without health care for all the illegals that have invaded the last 5 years or so. If so, it's pretty telling where their priorities and allegiances lie.
then I have some Nevada ocean front property to sale you at an extreme discount. It is and always has been against federal law for undocumented workers and illegal aliens to receive any ANY federal aid....

The first thing I think of is how are all of these things measured? Is it by number of people or number of dollars? With 60 million people in the fifth largest economy in the world, the number of people and number of dollars is just going to be bigger than the rest of the states.
Is it number one in homeless people by the number of people? Well the state with the biggest population and some of the best weather is probably going to have the most homeless people.
It is also number one in people who have homes and live in homes.
Is it number one in addiction by number of people addicted to something? It is also number one in people who are not addicted to something.
Is it number one in covid mandates by number of people mandated?
States cannot run budget deficits by law.
Is it number one in covid closures by the number of closures? Well it has the most stuff like schools and stores.
Is it the number one in frivolous lawsuits by number of lawsuits? Well it also has the most number of non-frivolous lawsuits.
While it is the number one in illiteracy by number of people, it is also number one in literacy by number ofpeople.
Is it number one in theft by amount of money of theft? It is also number one in sales and number one in stuff.
I mean I don't really care who the next president is. If we survive this guy, we can survive anybody.
Bottom line: you have enough on this guy to where you don't have to make **** up.

This may explain some of the angst regarding taxpayer dollars being spent on medical care for illegals
