Like gun checks?Like a national registry where the government knows who owns a firearm.
Are you for such a registry or for constitutional carry? Be careful now…. Your 2A buddies are watching. If you’re ok with a national no fly you surely are for a national gun registry right?

LOL, Don't jump to conclusions. And as far as the term buddies, wow, in some areas that carries different meanings.

Under Trump: worse, Under Vance: worse, Under a Democratic coup: worse. Under a military coup better. On "it gets better or worse over the next two years", it depends on one's perspective. Under a civil war worse.

I was playing the long game. You are correct it is all about perspective. And if it actually got better, American lives, not lost in forever wars, gas prices back down to
2.50 a gallon for regular, frivolous spending on1939 style monuments weren’t being erected in his name and image, ETC…. I would gladly send out five cigars if things actually improved. If hundreds of American lives are lost, that’s it, games over. If he becomes a lame duck, and causes no further damage to our country, that’s a win. I’ll send out a fiver for that alone.

Lol, Pete. You sure you're not a dyed-in-the-wool democrat? You once told me you were a centrist type republican. If this is centrist, I can only imagine what you consider leftist. It all just sounds so un-American.

It all just sounds so un-American.How is not losing American Servicemen lives un-American? How is lowering gas prices (Trump said himself we are not world dependent) un-American? Building monuments to yourself, the sitting president that doesn’t seem like a very American thing.
You’re saying you want death and higher gas prices? Noted.
To your Centrist-Republican comment. I still think so. I’m for all Amendments, not just your favorite. I’m for limited reaching government, like not sending ICE into states that don’t want them there (You want Fed Gov to stay the fück out, don’t pick and chooses to fit your ideology). I’m for lower taxes on upper-middle class on down but closing loop holes on the super rich I’m for….. to name a few.
But I’m not MAGA and I’m no conservative.

Trump said him posting himself as Jesus Christ was really him posting a picture of himself as a doctor.
But I found the actual picture of Trump showing off his medical abilities.

Trump says Pope Leo isn’t tough on crime, he must like it. President Messiah has already issued 1600 pardons. I bet MAGA believes that all 1600 pardons where probably falsely prosecuted….. innocent all of them!

Back for the anti-gun talking points. "Assault" weapons, etc. Some semi-auto rifles, as well as shotguns and handguns, have been used in public shootings, whether it be a school or a mall or whatever. Mostly all of which were "gun-free zones". Anti-rights people often use this as a reason to iifringe on our right to own them. Believing simply by their existence is dangerous and nobody but the military and police (the same entities that are positioned to oppress us) should possess them. There is somewhere in excess of 24 million semi-auto rifles commonly called "assault" weapons by antigunners in this country. Clearly if there were a problem with them, every neighborhood in America would be affected by them. The fact that in a country of 360+ million people, mass shootings as they are called, with these rifles are very rare. It takes a very simple mind to blame the object rather than the malicious person welding it. If
99.999% of them are not used for malicious purposes, why do these people focus on them so much? Because they're scary looking to non-shooters. Period. They're an easy target for anti-gunners.Trapped in the People's Communist Republic of Massachusetts.

Why are kids now shooting up schools versus say the 80’s, what has changed? It’s not the weapons but the culture.

I think most people know that though this may be a shock I’m not opposed to gun ownership whatsoever. Do I think somebody needs to carry 17 semi automatic rifles in the trunk of their car, probably not. I also do not oppose a federal gun registry. Federal government knows I own a car, own a house, they probably even know how many pairs of underwear I own. If I’m a lawful gun owner, I wouldn’t care in the least if they knew I had guns. But then you have the ultra right wing gun nut who says I don’t want the government coming after my guns! If they know, I have them they might come for them! I don’t know if the federal government is actually gone after anybody’s guns yet. Own all the guns in the world, but I think it’s OK if our government knows who owns them.
Edit.
If you don’t think the government should know that you’re a licensed gun owner, then the government shouldn’t get involved in needing a license to own or drive a car..
Also I don’t disagree with the culture . But I am just asking the question is it potentially due to the ease of access to gun guns and the amount of guns?
2 -
I agree. I don’t think it’s the ease of the guns, I believe it all starts at home. Parenting skills or lack of is what I think.
