    The one on the right is nicer. I did that type of flooring in my kitchen. I like the weathered and stressed look of the material with divots and holes. Almost looks like barnyard planks. 
    How do make this text turn upside down?

    My test door from an extra cabinet. This was brushed on but ill be spraying the real thing. Just wanted to check color.

    Like the one on the right. Did one of our bathrooms and laundry room with that flooring with white cabinets and looks good.

    My 2 cents is the right. Good luck with this undertaking. Have to love remodeling a remodel. My wife comes up with projects she wants to do, guess who does them. I am currently painting and trimming out our upper stair and hallway with semi gloss white on the bottom, putting in new chair rail dentil mold and trimming out "boxes". Ahhh trim is so much fun!! 

    Life is too short to smoke bad cigars!!!

    They could always do what the Navy did when I was stationed at Key West, Florida. They filled the enlisted men's pool with salt water from the ocean. Of course, the officers pool had fresh water in it....  :p

    Picking up the last 2 windows for my house today!
    These are the last 2 I have to replace, besides the front porch window, which I have.

    I am so glad to get these all done. It's been a long drawn out process replacing all of these windows, but having the wind not blow through the windows.

    And we pick up the last of the roll roofing for my garage.
    I get the garage roof done and both the house and garage will have new roofs on them, that should last me at least 20 years without any problems.

    I am so glad to get these final things.
    Then I still have to get trims and stuff and then paint the outside, so still need to buy 5 gallons of exterior paint and stuff, but we're getting there.

    We moved into out new to us house last friday. So far I have put in 4 updated light fixtures including a remote controlled ceiling fan, updated the outlets and switches in the house an replaced the laundry box, laundry hoses, part of the pipes and relocated the electrical boxes for the washer and dryer.

    When you mentioned updated outlets you reminded me of the outlet covers I bought and installed a while back. I just did a few in strategic locations but I love 'em. 

    And  they also have outlet covers with built-in charger outlets. Here's a link to their site:

    Those are awesome. I love the guide light idea. We have 3 children and these would be perfect. Might have to pick up a few.

    Little paint and trim. Not co ole rely done yet. Wo t be until we get either new stair tread or new carpet on stairs. Have to put te 1x up there and we do t know which way to go yet.
