Hello to all you degenerate tobacco fiends. My name is Hugh and I live near Augusta, GA. Love stogies and pipes. While I have made several purchases from cigar.com I am new to the fellowship of the forum. Thanks to my work buddy @84CJ7 for turning me on to this. In my short experience with the forum I have already been a recipient of the extreme generosity of @Bigshizza and @Patrickbrick. Enjoyed my first Viaje Reserva this weekend, thanks to Shizz. Best cigar I have smoked in a long time. Tons of rich, creamy smoke with a perfect draw. Full of flavor and a flawless burn. You'll never be shed of me now!!!

Hey there, my name is Mike. I'm a 33 year old golf fanatic, cigar smoking, UofM fan from right outside Ann Arbor, MI. I've been smoking cigars regularly for about 2 years now. Huge fan of Pepin blends, as well as the La Aroma de Cuba and San Cristobal lines! I enjoy reading all the reviews on cigars and trying them out to see just how good/bad folks say they are.
Happy to be aboard!5 -

Welcome aboard everyone.
Opus's r over-rated ..... Yuck
Cubans taste like hay and coffee.... Yuck
Padrons r too chocolatey .... Yuck
My Father's r too spicy.... Yuck
Avoid these seegars at all cost.
But before you even think about seegars, buy a cooler.
Be sure to chk out the best thread on the forum "Bum of the Week" which is always trending on twitter. Not responsible if you know one of the Bums BTW.
Also chk out the thread "What did you get today" which would be even better if we had audio/video recordings of people explaining to their wives etc. why they needed more seegars.
You're all gonna be broke.
Enjoy

I'm not sure how this works. But I'm happy to be here! I'm new to the world of cigars. I do have a few favorites. I like the Drew Estate brand and Tatiana brand. Looking forward to learning more about cigar etiquette and brands from you all."Aficionado my ass...I just love to smoke cigars". James Woods3

Welcome to the new folks.
Don't believe the hype on cigars. Choose what you like for yourselves. If you go on vherf, you will hurt yourself laughing. Some of these guys you will want to stay away from. They are bad influences. In Fumo Pax

Hello @LadyDieHard!
I have only been here for about 2 months, nice bunch of guys. I have learned a lot like don't be afraid of the darker wrappers they aren't all harsh. Flavor is good and doesn't always correlate to a strong stick.
I never would have smoked anything but a mild cigar if it wasn't for them
Welcome,

Hello Everyone! While considered a Newbie, I have dabbled with smoking a few cigars in the past. The most noticeable was the ACID Blonde. For some reason, I enjoyed it, mostly due to the aroma, however those around me criticized my selection that night. I just purchased the Cigar.com Start Set IV. What's the number one thing I should do as a new-er smoker? Thanks everyone!
