In the past I have enjoyed some with friends and find I enjoy the smoother milder sweeter tasting cigars (Acid Blondie and the kuba kuba) any suggestions on some similar cigars would be greatly appreciated!

I grew up in Opelika Alabama...a mere minutes from Jordan hare stadium....would move back in a heartbeat...but I'm afraid I have gotten my wife as far south as I can get her...lol

I'm in the same boat with the milder/sweeter side. You likely have already noticed this, but you can sort the searches but flavor as well. I'm still in the process of getting the humidor fine-tuned so my brand experience is very narrow. I'll let the others jump in on that.
Funny--in Iowa now, but would love to end up where you're from or where you're at. Went through Auburn playing the RTJ Trail and just a beautiful area down there around Grand National.
OK, wondering here; how much of a drop in humidity can one expect when they put stick in the humidor (post seasoning)? I would assume it would take a day or two for everything to balance out with the sticks getting up to 70s that the humidor has. Out of curiosity I opened it and it ready 62%. It just got me wondering.
You do have some boveda packs or a xikar puck in it right? You need some kind of humidification device in it
I have the cigar.com (brown-nosing) gel jar. Curiosity killed the cat and I checked again, and it's inching back up; 65% now.
Try out the other options, most of the guys like boveda packs. I like the xikar pucks filled with distilled water. Except for my 150 qt cooler, I use hydras in that, with fans to push the air around.

Everyone has their preference and your region, relative humidity where you live, temp and altitude all have an impact here but I personally prefer to keep my humis between 62-65% rH as I find they smoke better. No harm so long as it is 60% or above!

OK, thanks. Thought I had seen 70 was preferred, but 60s shouldn't be a problem. Since I'm asking, what's the preferred temp in your (and anyone else's) opinion?
I would personally say anything between 60-70 degrees... I have a wineador that keeps it around 58 degrees which slows aging a slight bit but nothing serious.

Greetings to anyone new. The folks here have a combined wealth of knowledge that could fill a library. I have learned much. Wish I had stopped in and read prior to my first humidor purchase. Once seasoned your humidor may drop a bit when you add cigars, but the fuller it is the steadier your RH will stay at your desired level.
