Re: ISOM
I've had some that were "ok" and some that were fantastic... My two favorites are the Cohiba Esplendidos and the Montecristo #2s... Are they all you might think they were? Not really... A lot of hype with a "forbidden fruit" kinda thing... On the other hand... There IS something about a good cuban... A smooth almost… -
Re: Opus X for trade !!!!!CLOSED!!!!!!!!!!
The 2 Fuente/Fuente twins have found a good home. The correct research was done and a qualified caretaker was chosen. I was promised that all accommodations were sufficient enough for such high brow offspring. I understand they will rest well in a climate controlled humidor overlooking the inland waters of the northeast… -
Re: Best Cigar experience
Best cigar experience I've ever had was last year at our little garden party (we don't have a garden, just a beat up lawn and a patio, but we call it our "garden party" to feel classy!). I smoked one of the Count's #2s for the first time, and it blew my mind. The evening was a ton of fun, and the cigar was unforgettable.… -
Re: What is the MOST expensive BOX you ever bought?
Hayblet: rwheelwright:Straight box, Partagas 150 box of 25. Approx $460. Or the Don Carlos 30th Anniv. 30 Cigars. 3 sizes, 10 of each with Prometheous Cigar box (humidor) and matching travel humidor. No hygrometer or humidifier. $1250. Don't think anyone here can top that... maybe Alex? If you are talkin about svenson then… -
Re: Biggest Letdown
Rhamlin: Shaun.Harrison87: Rhamlin:My biggest let down has been any ISOM that I have tried. Admittedly I've only had 5 but I always expected more out of them. Which ones did you have? Are you 100% sure they were authentic? Monte Cristo's and yeah I'm pretty sure they were real. A friend picked them up in Jamaica from a… -
Re: Coffins and Sealed boxes...
I found that the DC GoF that I got in the tubes had mold. I cleaned them off, turned the cedar around. I should check them again. Anything that is in cello is ok. The few that I have in coffins and are not in cello have the coffins open at the top to make sure that humidity can get in and escape. And now with that being… -
Re: Cuban cigars, home-made humidor, java?
j0z3r:I'd imagine there is a better chance of getting authentic Cubans in the Caribbean than a place like Mexico. Do an internet search for a la Casa del Habano in the Caribbean and see if there is one close to where you're going, that is a Cuban cigars store run/licensed by the Cuban govt. and a guaranteed authentic… -
Re: Post Every Boring Aspect Of Your Mundane Life Thread
Sweden: No reason to look any further than skatteverket.se; the Swedish tax agency provides a free and very easy-to-use system for everyone to use. Skatteverket also sends out pre-filled tax forms in the beginning of April, and if there are no changes to be made, the filing can alternatively be done simply by texting a… -
