Lol, it was 2008, the cap came right off and took some wrapper with it. It still smoked great and was an amazing cigar. They are one of my personal favorites as well.
Man I'll tell you this ruination with 1.5 years on it is pretty tasty, haven't had one in some time and after some initial up front power it toned down to just the right amount of strength. I guess ilike these aged too but I'm sure my pallet has changed since then as well.

Last night the wife and I enjoyed a smoke on the deck. She had a Mr. B Magnum Claro and I had my first H. Upman Sir Winston. The weather was perfect and the company was sublime.
