Ok, who's the bigger idiot here US Airways or the scantily dressed man.
What will get you kicked off US Airways? Saggy pants or underpants?
US Airways has acknowledged that less than a week before having a college student arrested for allegedly refusing to hike up his saggy pants while boarding, the airline allowed a man wearing little more than womens underwear, black thigh-high stockings and heels to fly.
On June 16, University of New Mexico football player Deshon Marman was removed from a US Airways flight at San Francisco International Airport and arrested for refusing to follow crew members requests to hike up his saggy pants.
At the time, an airline spokesperson said that while the airline does not have a specific dress code we do ask that our passengers dress in an appropriate manner to ensure the safety and comfort of all of our passengers.
Now there are reports and a photo published in the San Francisco Chronicle showing that six days before the saggy-pants incident, the airline allowed a man to board a flight in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., wearing an outfit that consisted, mostly, of womens underwear and a short, see-through, cover-up shirt.
Jill Tarlow, a fellow passenger on the Phoenix-bound flight, shared a photo of the scantily-clad man with the airline and the newspaper. US Airways spokeswoman Valerie Wunder confirmed to The Chronicle that she'd received the photo before last week's incident in San Francisco but said employees had been correct not to ask the man to cover himself.
In the case of the gentleman flying of out San Francisco, it was ultimately not a matter of baggy pants. It was a matter of him not complying with crew instructions, Wunder told msnbc.com. "In terms of the man in Florida: As long as youre covered you can fly. In the picture, that man is covered. A little unorthodox, but covered."
LOS ANGELES Los Angeles Lakers forward Ron Artest wants to change his name to Metta World Peace.
Artests attorney filed a petition in Los Angeles Superior Court on Thursday seeking the change. The 31-year-old NBA star was born Ronald William Artest Jr.
In the court documents, Artest cites personal reasons for wanting to make the change.
An Aug. 26 court date was set to consider the petition.
The petition filing was first reported by celebrity website TMZ.
Artests career has been filled with ups and downs. He helped the Lakers win the NBA championship a year ago and in April he received an award for outstanding service and dedication to the community.
He has testified before Congress to support mental health legislation.
Artest may be best known for triggering the most notorious brawl in NBA history when he jumped into the stands and attacked a fan while playing for the Indiana Pacers in November 2004. He was suspended for the rest of that season.
Artest wouldnt be the first NBA player to make a change to an unusual name.
Lloyd Bernard Free, who played in the league from 1975-88, had his first name legally changed to World in 1981. A friend had given him the nickname because of his 44-inch vertical leaps and 360-degree dunks.
In the NFL, Cincinnati Bengals star Chad Johnson legally changed his last name to Ochocinco in August 2008. The name means eight five in Spanish.

Colorado Toilet Tank Arrestee Is A Wannabe New Age Pornographer
The man arrested for hiding in a toilet tank at a Colorado yoga festival is a New Age transient who aspires to operate a spiritual porn site and describes himself as a worshipper of women.
Luke Chrisco, 30, was arrested yesterday and charged with hiding inside a toilet tank at the Hanuman Yoga Festival in Boulder. A woman about to use the toilet, cops reported, noticed movement in the tank and alerted a man who spotted the ***-covered suspect hiding inside the tank.
Chrisco appears to travel from festival to festival, according to his Facebook and YouTube pages. He is a world traveler who offers massages to festival attendees.
On several blogs and web sites he has registered, Chrisco--who uses the handle Skye Oryan--has written about his desire to create some adult entertainment and share divine pleasure and make a ton of money and fun. His web sites include maxextrememodels.com, skyeoryan.com, and holysexteam.blogspot.com (where his occupation is listed as Pornstar).
Another Chrisco site, holysexgirls.com, declares that, Girls Bodies are as the holy temple of the conciousnes adoration of infinity and the only refuge from the infinite desert of the sands of time and desolution. The site is headlined Spirit Porn and includes the slogan No Guilt. No Fear. Only God.
One Chrisco page advertises his services as a male escort. Using the handle BunnyMan, he offers female clients pricing plans that are quick and easy. The page, which appears to have been created several years ago, notes that an initial hour costs $40, with a two-hour minimum on all dates. For $620, a woman could get Seven Days of Sin with "BunnyMan," who, for some reason, included a scan of his passport on the site. In a YouTube video posted late last year, Chrisco, traveling in Serbia, talks about getting business cards for the escort agency.
Chrisco also recently has been contemplating a tantric website, and last month placed an online classified ad seeking models and business partners. Chrisco noted that he and a partner were worshippers of women and just want to show them as the amazing dynamic and even creations of infinite light that they are. He added, Women are the greatest animal in the animal kingdom! Meow! Roar!
In a June 3 classified ad, Chrisco offered the escort services of himself and his 19-year-old girlfriend. Along with offering Special Pricing for using us as a couple, the ad states that, We can even do tantric or healing type work. There is also an option of making a video.
In an April video posted to his Facebook page, Chrisco--who introduced himself as Skye Oryan, the biggest jackass on earth--said that he was en route to North Carolina and spent the night sleeping in a cardboard box inside a dumpster at a construction site. He did not want to stay at the Greyhound station because it smelled weird.

Woman Apologizes for Using Lactating Breasts as Weapon
DELAWARE, Ohio A central Ohio woman accused of spraying sheriff's deputies with *** milk is facing charges.
Stephanie Robinette, 30, of Westerville faces charges including domestic violence, assault, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. The new mom's troubles started early Saturday morning at the Bridgewater Banquet Center in Delaware.
Robinette and her husband were guests at a wedding but got into a fight outside in the parking lot as the party was winding down.
A 911 caller said,"She's intoxicated and she's swinging."
The bride apparently attempted to calm Robinette, but she responded by locking herself inside her car, a red Honda.
The 911 caller said, "I mean the bride's out here right now consoling her. They're friends. It's coming to blows. It's not good."
Sheriff's deputies arrived and tried to talk to her but according to Sheriff Walter Davis she kept screaming profanities at the deputies.
"Alcohol makes you do things you don't normally do under normal circumstances and obviously she had way too much to drink."
After several failed attempts at kicking out the car's windows, Robinette finally exited the vehicle, and unleashed her lactating breasts on the unsuspecting deputies.
"Then, she took out one of her breasts and literally started pumping her *** to spray the milk on officers," said Sheriff Walter Davis.
In court Monday, a much more sober Stephanie Robinette said she was deeply sorry for her actions.
"I just want to apologize for this incident that occurred on Friday. I have no criminal record and I take these charges very seriously and I absolutely intend to seek help for substance abuse with alcohol because alcoholism does run in my family and I'm addressing that, and absolutely serious to go forward with counseling and rehabilitation."

FOND DU LAC, Wis. -- A Fond du Lac man got his hand stuck in a car's gas tank after he reached in to try to retrieve a Snicker's candy bar he saw inside.
The Fond du Lac Reporter says firefighters freed 20-year-old Earr Stokes on Tuesday afternoon.

Stokes' cousin, Tyrone Williams, says Stokes happened to look into the gas tank and saw the candy bar. He says someone had removed it from the wrapper and jammed it into the gas tank.

Colo. man spends 15 hours in air-conditioning vent
ENGLEWOOD, Colo. A 28-year-old Colorado man was rescued dusty but alive after he was trapped nearly 15 hours in an air-conditioning vent.
Englewood police say they responded to calls for help Tuesday from the roof of an elementary school, where they discovered a man trapped 30 feet down the vent.
Firefighters had to cut open the vent to pull the man out.
The Denver Post reports that the man, who wasn't identified, told police he stole a friend's purse Monday night and threw it on the roof. When he climbed onto the roof to get the purse, he fell into the vent and became stuck.
AGREEDD that was HORRIBLE!, no offense to any officers on here, i know there are a few, but officers like these guys are the reason many people hate the police and are terrified of them. I know a couple people shouldn't represent a whole but they just put out a bad image for you guys. This reminds me of something that happened in memphis, an EXTREMELY challeneged kid was beaten by a police officer. they police in memphis are mean.
Is that all? I think they should not only lose their badges, they should be charged with assault and battery. That's such an egregious display of abused power, I'm disgusted by this.

Well no, I'd love to see more but at minimum they need to lose their badges.
Idiot of the day is me........I left my employer to start my own business, there are a number of disgruntled staff coming with me including the top man to the owner...I had to turn my blackberry in so I did a Blackberry wipe and thought that all of my email accounts were erased surprise surprise, all email including email from my new company started flowing to the Blackberry in the posession of the owner, needless to say the jig is up...
Rep. Mecklenborg was driving through Dearborn County, Indiana in the very early hours of the morning of April 23 in a car with temporary Kentucky plates when an Indiana state trooper pulled him over. The trooper observed that the car had a burned-out headlight, the reason for stopping this champion of Republican morality. In his report the officer said that he suspected Mecklenborg was intoxicated because he smelled alcohol and the representative had glossy, bloodshot eyes.
I said that wasnt all: Mecklenborg refused a chemical test but he failed three field sobriety tests. He was administered a blood test and charged with drunken driving. This paragon of morality tested positive for ****, and not, apparently for the benefit of his wife. Because he wasnt alone in the car and his companion was not his wife.
His passenger was a 26-year-old woman, Tiona Roberts, a local stripper who works nearby in Lawrenceburg, Indiana. And then there is the little matter of **** in his system. Im sure it must improve night-vision, or some such. It couldnt possibly have anything to do with the young woman sitting with the intoxicated 59-year-old paragon of morality in the wee hours of the morning, far away from his wife and children.
Man arrested for pointing laser at police helicopter
PHOENIX A Phoenix man is in jail after allegedly pointing a laser at a police helicopter.
It happened shortly before 10:30 p.m. Wednesday.
The helicopter was flying over the neighborhood of 23rd Avenue south of Greenway Road when somebody on the ground pointed a laser at it. Two pilots, both of them Phoenix police officers, were on board the helicopter at the time.
According to Sgt. Tommy Thompson, the helicopter crew was able to direct officers on the ground to where the laser originated.
Officers arrested Conrad Rzewuski, 24. He has been booked into Maricopa County Jail and charged with two counts of endangerment, which is a Class 6 felony.
Pointing a laser at an aircraft might seem harmless, but it is actually very dangerous for pilots, not only causing disorientation but also potentially permanent eye damage. Thats why its illegal.
Phoenix leads the nation in such incidents.
Last month, the Federal Aviation Administration said it would start fining people up to $11,000 per incident of pointing a laser at an aircraft. While the FAA can only file civil charges against an offender, the Phoenix Police Department said it can and will file criminal charges.
Steelers' Hines Ward arrested on DUI charge in Ga.
DECATUR, Ga. (AP) Pittsburgh Steelers star wide receiver Hines Ward was arrested early Saturday in Georgia on a drunken driving charge, sheriff's officials said.
The former Super Bowl MVP and reigning "Dancing With the Stars" champ was booked into the DeKalb County jail just outside Atlanta at 3:41 a.m. and charged with driving under the influence. He was released on $1,300 bond.
The sheriff's office said it had turned over paperwork to the courts and couldn't release any further information about the player's arrest.
A Steelers spokesman did not immediately respond to a message, and it was not immediately clear if Ward had an attorney.
ST. FRANCIS, Minn. (AP) - Police say a city council member in Minnesota mailed himself a fake grenade to gain sympathy from his constituents.
Leroy Schaffer was cited for filing a false police report after calling St. Francis officers last week to report a suspicious package he received in the mail. Schaffer showed the officer a package postmarked from Chicago in his mailbox.
Police say the councilman told the officer he thought it was a bomb because "he was in politics and has a lot of enemies.'' Schaffer insisted the officer open the package. And, when the officer declined, Schaffer ripped it open to reveal what looked like a real hand grenade. A note in the box said "The next one will be real.''
When Schaffer was interviewed by detectives, he admitted driving to Chicago and mailing himself the package in order to gain sympathy from the public.
