Agree ^ And I think that that humidification unit will work much better inside the humidor. If you're going to run it in the closet floor, time to line that room with Spanish cedar my brother!

If you look closely at the bottom left corner of the picture, he has a moist n air plugged in sitting on the closet floor.

To turn the whole closet into a humidor? That's what I would do. Of course I have a closet and of course I have not turned it into a humidor specifically because the CEO said I could not do so. Still, I would do it

My basement maintains 70/70 pretty much all summer. Think I can use it as a 1200 Sq ft humi?

You'll want a dehumidifier, and I wouldn't trust "pretty much" lol

I have a dehumidifier running. Have not seen anything over those number, since I started checking, three months ago.

Yes it will, I'm moving everything into the upstairs, once I have to light the basement heaters.

haha it wasn't plugged in but that was before i put it in and turned it on so.. I might swap out the moist n air I did have a walk in humidor at one point well a closet that was turned into one ended up selling that house 6 months later but! i still had this guy laying around and seems to still work but even though i had that thing set at 70 for some reason it jumped up to 99% humidity had to be more than that because we had condensation ugh.. anyway i think i lined that out ill give it a week to get the humidor seasoned right if the moist n air doesn't seem to work we will get the oasis and this ill sell this unit it still works i think it probably just needs a new thermostat or humistat? not sure what the best word to use for it is.

Edit: the plugs you see are the extension cable from where i added a plug to my closet over the weekend the humidor itself offers two plugs inside and had a plug coming out to power those.

I have that same unit in my tower. The control on it really blows. One of the forum members here suggested that I put it on a timer, which has worked to perfection. I run at 40 minutes a day in the morning and 30 minutes a day at night. In the winter I run it a little less because the humidity is a little higher here. Something to consider anyways brother.

Smart Plugs work very well. Set everything from your smart device in terms of scheduling. So easy and usually under $10

Dumb question but lights won't affect those cigars will they?

I don't think so. I imagine that if I left it on all the time on the bright white or bright red setting, I might bleach them a little, but these are battery operated and they're only on while I am in the room.
