MF bought Fonseca simply as a way to get around the FDA equivalency nonsense, according to the MF rep at an event I was at earlier this year. I will definitely be keeping my eye out for these.

These just share the name. Total reblend with MyFather grown tobacco. I havent tried the new ones, but I imagine they are nothing like the cheap former Fonseca brand.
