Noticed on another site that Indian Motorcycle Cigars now exist. Hadn't heard of these.
Cool box, no idea what the cigars might be like.
I have had one for quite awhile but don’t want to smoke it.
Those OGs are legit
I'm hoping that these new ones are like this:
Those are different. That is Indian Tabac. The one you have is made by Rocky Patel. The Indian motorcycle cigar was designed by the same guy that partnered with Rocky but these are made by Debonaire.
Yeah, I know, I'm just hoping he stole remembered the recipe.

In case anyone else was hoping the same, they're not the same. At all.
I've Frank'd one each of the Habano and Maduro within a day or two of arrival. They're not bad, I'd classify them as first rate yard 'gars.
The Habano's wrapper kind of came a little undone about halfway through, but I've had the same happen with better cigars. Didn't ruin the experience or anything.
The maduro was pretty good, burned very well. I guess my only real complaint with it was that the wrapper seemed like some of those RP's that seem to be dyed maduro-colored. Not like, say, a Padron maduro where the color and taste seem to be derived by a lengthy natural curing process. Or even like the original Indian Tabac Maduro that I like. More like somebody painted them with something. They definitely looked good, but there's a chemical kind of background flavor. Perhaps it will dissipate with age? I don't know.
And, of course, they're too large a ring gauge for me, but I knew that going in and also know that many of y'all like 'em big around like that. Just personal preference.
That's all, folks.

In total, 106 SKUs are being discontinued. Some of these are special packaging options or samplers, meaning you will still be able to purchase the cigars in different packaging options. For many cigars on the list, Dew Estate is discontinuing the cigars themselves and they will no longer be available for purchase. In addition, eight of them are from Joya de Nicaragua, which Drew Estate distributes in the U.S.

Im sure each size is a SKU also so if the just got rid of the 6x60 sizes in each line. Hell how many sizes does the regular UC have alone. 80/20 is the current buzzword in manufacturing, 80% of sales comes from 20% of SKUs so cut the low performers.
Looking at their list it seems they are viewing the packing as a SKU. KFC boxes might be discontinued, but they will continue to release KFC in paper wrappings (Just an example)

Luciano Meirelles shows off his new tattoo, talks about rebranding of Ace Prime holding company and Tabacalera Pichardo to become Luciano Cigars and Luciano Cigar Factory respectively.
The L&L Blind Smoke last night was with Akhil Kapacee of Regius Cigars and he was smoking on the patio of a friend's restaurant in Nicaragua because of the power and internet outages at his home. (someone stole his satellite dish) It was windy and rainy but didn't look too bad.
The blind smoke was the Regius Sun Grown, a unique cigar that starts mild and builds with a bright citrus / anise flavor profile.

I wonder if more will be leaving Tabacalera Pichardo in the future.
The blend is changing a bit as part of the move, as the Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper on the original is being replaced with an Ecuadorian Habana 2000 leaf.
Too bad, I've been loving Sumatra wrapper lately.

Damn, this is crazy. If I’m reading this right, not only has California upheld a ban on flavored tobacco but now added a ban on any cigar priced under $12
And I just realized it says wholesale price of $12…not retail

There was a brief mention that the Pichardo brand may be going to Eradio Pichardo who may be going solo, separating from the Luciano juggernaut.

Nuts and ass must taste good.

The way I understand it is that Ozgener is partnered with Crowned Heads. The breakup between them and Luciano was the reason behind this move.

Irritating would be an understatement.
