@Markwell how are you even able to smoke a pipe without a beard? I thought that was a rule?

LOL sorry, but I'm anti facial hair. Doesn't help I can only grow a chin strap, which looks absolutely ridiculous on me.

Drink more whiskey and keep that pipe burning. The hair will have no choice but to come in
That's funny because I decided to smoke a pipe on the same day I stopped shaving...I assumed the two were related!

I used my diplomat bent stem for the first time last night.

Like it a lot, thanks to @Captain_Call for the suggestion

It's kind of hard to justify those more expensive cobs until you get one in your hands. Then it becomes clear what you are paying for.

What did you christen it with?

Yes, metal pipes: Falcon, Grabow Viking, and Kirsten; all have interchangeable bowls. The Kirstens are a bit weird but unique (and a PITA to clean). They do smoke cool, especially outdoors in the winter....

Beards not required, though it would help if you wore a corduroy sport coat with patches on the elbows and practiced a philosophical look.
