I would take exception to the Enlightenment noble savage notion implied by the phrase "cultural wisdom". Wisdom, to me, would be GTFO of that frozenazz wasteland, dudes. I'm betting primordial Nenets got shoved out of the more southern forests and grasslands. Wisdom would be: make a better bow, get on a horse, and shove the other guys.
