Yeah! I went to my liquor store sunday to get some chocolate stout that some brothers were raving about back a few posts ago, and I saw all the pumpkin beers. Wanted to get some but didn't.

Huh? It's possible to not buy pumpkin beer right now? At least tell me you grabbed some Oktoberfest! Lol, kidding, but I do try to take advantage of the seasonal beers as much as possible.
Does anyone have any suggestions for chocolate stouts to try? Thanks fellas.
young's double chocolate stout.
can't go wrong with that one, and it's pretty widely available.
Thank you sir. Will let you know my thoughts.
Royln, IMHO, Young's in the can is better than the Young's in the bottle. Young's on tap can't be beat.
Had one of these last night based on the recommendation, and man it was a great brew.
It works well mixing with others beers as well. Wells Banana Bread and a Raspberry Lambic go well. The Wells mix 50/50 and do the Lambic by taste, start at 35/75 and work the numbers as to how you like it. Cherry Lambic works also.
FIND SOME. Seriously, one of the best beers I've had. Didn't know what to expect and only bought because of the Norse part, but wow is it good. I'm getting more.
First week of teaching is done. Can't imagine how much beer I will drink tonight. Might have to crack a couple KBS for the wife and I for starters.
So this didn't happen last night. Ended up changing a light bulb over the stairs (why do they put them there) and mounting a TV on the wall in the bedroom. So today, I get sent to the store to pick up a couple ingredients for dinner and come home with these.
Time to redeem myself.
Mm pumpkin pie in a bottle. I Like it better bottled than on tap. Bartender suggested trying it with a shot of pinnacle whipped vodka mixed in....said it tastes like whipped cream on top....idk haven't had it myself
Those I've stayed away from, not just because I can't find them, but mostly because I don't want to spend the money and not like them. Man version - chickenshit!! lol
Got my Bruery Reserve Society membership today to go with my Hanger 24 Barrel Roll membership I pickup up in the beginning of October. So far, that's $600 spent and my first beers won't be available to pick up until December, lol. Pretty damn excited though.
I love a good beer and, i'm pretty sure it loves me back!
Aptly put.
