Shrimp and Grits. Stone ground white grits cooked with onions, garlic, shrimp stock, and sherry. Shrimp flash cooked in bacon drippings and layered over the grits with chopped green onions from the garden and crumbled bacon sprinkled on top. My other is dairy free so no cheese or cream . Still good eats.

What would you expect, it's a cigar forum, right? Good choice @CharlieHeis.

Didn't get off work until about 8:30 so I either had time to eat or smoke. I chose smoke.

It's been cool here but no snow for a while. The west side of the state got 8-10" a few days ago. Crazy.

Patrick is a much better cook than me, especially on a grill which I barely know how to use. I'll be happy to help though if he needs it.

Made up a batch of Salsa Rosa. Dry Anchos and Pasilla chiles, roasted tomatoes, roasted onions, roasted garlic, and roasted jalapeños. Chipotles in adobo, and cilantro from the garden. Buzzed up in the blender and great on rice and beans and eggs in the morning.
