Well I got to get off the boat. Carla's in the hospital. She's been having trouble the last few days with her right side. Finally went to the ER yesterday. They admitted her. Seems the brain tumor they found 6 months ago that was supposed to be nothing has grown. Please pray, I don't know how much more of this she can take. Or me for that matter. Every time I think our prayers are doing good, it's something else going wrong. I'm just so tired of life anymore.
Oh man, @Rhamlin , y'all have sure been through too much. Hopefully this won't be too bad.
One of my sisters has an inoperable brain tumor. They took out about 90% of it, but the rest is wrapped around her internal carotid artery. Nothing to do about that. She takes a monthly shot that seems to have kept it under control, and lives a pretty normal life, except for the pain. Her tumor caused her to start producing growth hormones, acromegaly, and when that happens in adults their nose, feet, hands, tongue, start growing, and worse, their joints start growing, resulting in loss of the cartilage between the joints.
I don't respond a lot on this thread, or some others like it, (maybe too much like being at work, for me) but I read them and feel for you and your wife.
Praying for you.

We're praying too! When you feel like you can't keep on, just keep going. Even if it's one breath at a time. Pray even when there are no words to say. God gives us strength we didn't know we have, but sometimes we have to dig deep to find it. We'll be praying for strength, peace and wellness.
Praying for the both of you bother @Rhamlin and anger is understandable I know I am not happy about all the stuff I am going through with my mother but I just try to cope with it
Ricky, you and Carla are in my prayers, so are the Doctors and Nurses. My heart is breaking for the roller coaster of emotions you must be on right now. If you need to talk pm me and I will shoot you my #, and promise to listen. Hang in there brother!
Prayers to everyone, especially Ricky @Rhamlin and Tara @TaraLee and Archie @arch72 for all y'all are going through! Be well and keep your heads held high!

A pastor once told me God knows what's in your heart, so there is no harm in yelling at him if your mad. It's pretty therapeutic. We're praying for you both.

Well they are supposed to operate today, finally, if they don't change their mind. They say it's an 8-10 hour operation. About time. She's lost all use of her right leg and can barely lift her right arm. And yet they all act like what she's expierenceing is no big deal. But when she's crying nonstop and saying that she wished she were dead it is a big deal. We're just praying it's not cancer.
