Ok well I think I could use a little prayer having a lot of stress these days Mom is still about the same but is forgetting things somethings but now we have another problem and I am stress over it big time I can't go into detail about but I need pray to stop stressing about thank you all in advance
Praying for you Arch. I can relate on the stress. I didn't think I was going to make a few times myself. Still running myself ragged but I've broken down and asked some friends to help me get things straightened out and that's been a big weight off my shoulders. At least I'm sleeping more than 3 hours a night. Love you brother. Shoot me a pm anytime, we can bum each other out.
The surgery on Sunday went well, pops has many weeks of recovery and then many weeks of rehabilitation therapy ahead of him but the surgery should relieve the pain from the leg beak. Thanks for all the prayers, he had a tough night last night getting food that was too hard for him to eat in his lungs but is doing better tonight.

Please give your dad our best wishes for a speedy recovery, Chris @Yakster. Our prayers go out to him.
I think dealing with an injury like that has to be harder on a person the older they are. Barb and I are constantly aware of our surroundings and obstacles we face because we don't want a fall or other incident like that to happen to us. It's scary when you're old.....
Well I guess I'm just going to have to break Carlas heart. She just doesn't seem to get that I've only got a month of fmla left and she's still got to start chemo to go through again and that once it's gone I have to go back to work or get fired. All the docs, and social workers have told her that I shouldn't waste it while she's in rehab unit. It's an argument each time I bring it up. So I guess I'm just going to have to tell her that I'm just going back. I should have went back a week ago but I let her talk me out of it. But I get my last check tomorrow. I really got to get this house sold. So we can move into her moms. That'll be a big help. I wonder if any of those work at home ads are legit.
That's a tough choice, Ricky, but sounds like you don't really have much of a choice. My prayers are still with you.
Pops got out of the hospital yesterday and was transferred to a good rehab facility for the next 100 days, the max that Medicare will pay for. He looks good, hope to get down there soon.

He's looking good @Yakster is it an intensive rehab center. The place where Carla is now isn't one. But there's someone from another place coming out Monday to evaluate her to see if she's a candidate for their place. It's an acute facility. 7:30am to 3:00pm almost nonstop rehab. Finally! Can't believe it's taken 3 weeks to get this done. Thank God for OSU. They didn't cut the insurance company any slack once they saw Carla.

He looks like a very upbeat guy. Praying for you guys!
My wife is going to kill me when she finds out all the stuff I've been selling. And all the stuff I took back to Macy's and Kohls. I don't know if it was the tumor or what but I returned anything I could find a receipt for. Added up to 1600$ going back on the cards she used. I mean who does that if they are in their right mind. And that's probably not half what she actually spent that I couldn't return.
