    https://www.yahoo.com/news/colombian-airline-wants-passengers-stand-095900457.html

"Budget airline VivaColombia is considering plans to remove all seats from its planes and make passengers stand.

They hope the move will drive down fares by allowing them to squeeze more passengers into each flight, opening up air travel to working class Colombians and budget holidaymakers.

The no-frills carrier announced this week that it is adding 50 new Airbus 320s to its fleet to capitalise on the country's growing tourist market. "

Who in the hell TOURS Colombia? Cocaine addicts? "Aww, this is where it all started...."

His voters can like him all they want but it won't change the fact this guy is a fuckiiin nut job. He has threatened people who discredit him with with National Enquirer stories. This is the President of the United States acting like a freaking school girl who threatens to give you cooties if you don't like him or bring up the fact the has an ego issue.

Remember he never watches  Morning Joe, only to tweet he watched it today. He watches them all, probably sucking his thumb sitting in a corner like Baby Huey.

    His latest tweet

Watched low rated @Morning_Joe for first time in long time. FAKE NEWS. He called me to stop a National Enquirer article. I said no! Bad show.

If you read the article on this story the White House tried to blackmail Scarborough and Brzezinski on a story the National Enquirer was going to run. They claim Trump would stop the story if they apologized for all the negative press they were giving him.

“This year, top White House staff members warned that the National Enquirer was planning to publish a negative article about us unless we begged the president to have the story spiked.

Call it fake news or whatever but the bottom line this guy is a loon. I hope they release the phone records to prove once again how pathetic this guy really is.

I can't believe a 71 year old man acts this way, let alone the POTUS. By the time Trump is done Jimmy Carter will look like a great POTUS compared to this ****'nn tool.

America got what it wanted. Jerry Springer is running the White House.

Okay. Enough. If you hire a clown, expect a circus. Bach didn't play the concertina. If you elect a president who gained his notoriety from reality TV, then stop complaining that butter will melt in his mouth. If that corrupt Dem mafia hadn't screwed Bernie, we could all be enjoying the manifold blessings of well meaning socialism today. ... just like Venezuela. But they did. So we got this. It wasn't Trump, nor Putin, nor even Assange ... they did it to themselves. Stop shooting the messenger & we don't need another cold war with Russia. Learn from what you did wrong. Knock it off. Move on.

    I'm tired of this drumbeat.

You know what I want to hear about? Last week, Trump told federal agencies to cut regulations on apprenticeships. What? I had no idea the Feds meddled with apprenticeships. I thought that was strictly a union thing. What regs did they make? Why? Did they work? Trump wants to sped 300 million a year on apprenticeships. a) Where's the bucks come from?, and b) where do they go to? I don't want to hear another talking head **** about the jackass in chief is a jackass. Duh, we know that. I want to hear Mike Rowe say whether axing these regs and throwing millions around will help fill dirty jobs. All's I know about apprenticeships, a kid comes straight out of high school, he earns eighteen bucks an hour, earns his certificate, at which point he earns twice what a college grad gets... without a dime of debt and without taking his work home.

Trump's doing something new every week. It's not who he is; it's what he does, is what interests me. Face lifts and tantrums are for tabloids. Tired of tabloids.

I want to hear about the stuff that decides whether my grandchildren are going to live comfy and free or poor and stifled.

Look, I've had it up to here with polished politicians pandering their practiced and polite prevarications. Charisma is but the simulacrum of character; not the real thing. Obama could out-sparkle the evening talk show host, all relaxed and believable and charismatic, even while promising five million shovel ready jobs and how you can keep your plan and all his endless whoppers. Saying it nice doesn't make it true. All personable and confident while sneaking pallets of cash to Iran. Broke the law, ignored the law, hated the country, but smiled real good, cool as a cucumber. Maybe political polish is no guarantee of ability.

    I don't say he's not a jackass. I say let's agree on that & move on. How's he doing? That's what counts.

    Here's the conmtrast:

Carter issued an executive order barring Shiites. Carter is a sterling fellow.

Trump issued an executive order banning Mohammedans from a list of countries. Trump is a jerk.

Which way works better: banning by sect or by country? That is the question that matters. The rest doesn't prevent a single bombing.

    ... and neither does Elmo.

Just to be clear, I'm not arguing with your post.

    At all.

I'm just wondering about these apprenticeships.  Where does this happen?  How?  Is it something that's been going on up North?

It sure isn't happening here in West TN.

I've always hired people who have an interest in the trade, train them with good pay, they stick around, love working. Not a complicated business model IMHO.

It's the people who have learned helplessness or being a victim who are the secure base of the Democratic Party.

IIRC, the whole city was pretty much a roach cafe.

I thought Santa Cruz was okay but not great. I kinda liked Capitola and Aptos better. Maybe Seaside....

The Shadowbrook in Capitola is outstanding. Pricey, though...   B)

Fireworks Schedule for Upper Dauphin County

July 2 - Lykens (our town) and Wiconisco (neighboring town)

July 3 - Elizabethville (bigger town town the road) and Millersburg  (on tge Susquehanna)

July 4 - no fireworks scheduled

Wtf is wrong with this picture? We also have parades on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, but never on weekends, and they're not typically announced. It's...different. Just the viewpoint of an ex Dull-awarian.

I've been waiting for Snopes to declare this false, cause it seemed so way way out there... but it appears to be fact. Barak Hussein returned to Indonesia July 4th weekend, the place where he grew up as a boy and learned his Koran, to give a speech in which he cautioned Americans against showing too much patriotism.

    July 4th weekend.
    Tone down the patriotism.
    The Fourth.
    Stop lovin' your country.

What is that jackhole smokin now?

Meanwhile, back in the USA, a love affair goin on:

In other news, Dwayne the Rock Johnson may run for President as an independent!

Good to know! I'll have to give them a try next year. Almost said screw it and drove down to Hockessin, DE where we used to go every year, but I didn't feel like dodging the drunks.
