My daughter saw a Snapchat from a friend at Harvey Mudd College. Apparently, they've been having a lot of problems with out-of-service laundry machines and traced the problem to clogged pipes from, um, excessive wankery in the laundry rooms which doesn't break down in water, so they're urging students not to do it in the laundry rooms.

"Security employees of the Wynn Las Vegas and Encore casino-resorts used hand-held metal detectors to check bags. Guards asked some visitors to pop their trunks."
I always get concerned when people start giving up their rights in favor of "their safety".
And what if the metal detector goes off on your luggage, do they want to search it? Are people going on vacation going to have to be concerned what they put in their suitcases, so they aren't illegally searched at hotels?

In Fumo Pax Money can't buy happiness, but it can buy cigars and that's close enough.
Open carry is legal in Vegas. Concealed is legal if the ammo is separated. A metal detector sounds pretty pointless.
Private property trumps laws and rights. An establishment can elect to make their place a gun free zone and you must follow or leave. Happened to me at the Tampa Bay stadium. Not even off duty LEO allowed to carry in an NFL stadium. All the more reason not to go

Hey as an American, they have every right to protest in any way that they desire as long as others are not harmed.
Of course everyone else has the right to show them what they think of their protest by, not supporting them, not paying them, firing them, and the list goes on.
Just think: make a racially incorrect comment or politically incorrect comment on facebook and you can be dismissed from your position.

Malia Obama interned for Weinstein, first on Lena Dunham's HBO "Girls". It's a show I've never seen, but I read it was an episode in which the protagonists eat out each others' buttholes. Then next summer she interned in the New York ad office. The president's oldest daughter.

The universities should host two Halloween parties, physically side-by-side parties. If you show up in a costume that the sensitive people think is appropriate you enter the party on the left. If you show up in a costume that the sensitive people think is inappropriate you enter the party on the right. If you show up not in costume, you get to choose which party to enter.
I wonder which party will be bigger and have more fun.
A guy in Cameron County Texas, a juvenile justice department employee, stole $1.2 million worth of fajitas over nine years. He sold the fajita meat to his own customers. His scheme got exposed when he missed work one day and 800 lbs of fajita meat arrived and they were like "we don't order fajita meat".

Reminds me of the Rocky Horror Picture Show screenings at the Balboa Cinema in Newport Beach, they showed it at midnight on two screens, one had no talking or pranks and the other had all the antics. My Dad used to take my Sister and I to the fun screening when we were kids.

Reno is going to start using drones with automated defibrillators to respond to cardiac arrest calls, with the hopes they can get there before the ambulances and help cut down on fatalities.

At any given time the urge to sing "In The Jungle" is just a whim away... A whim away... A whim away...

I get so tired of watching people drive and walk with a phone stuck in their face. What would they do without them? What did they do without them? Cell phones are the real brain eating zombies. I have got to the point that when someone interrupts a conversation we are having because of a cell phone call, I walk off.
