I've got insurance obviously, and I actually did want a new garage, or at least electricity in this one. We'll see what they say, but it may not be for the worst.
Yup, house is perfectly fine. I've been thinking about it, and assuming the insurance covers everything, a new garage for the cost of the deductible is kind of awesome.

Looks like another week of unseasonably warm, humid weather, 65°f today supposed to get up to 71°.
We had that up until yesterday. The temps were welcome, but the high dew point made it unpleasant. It's weird having upper 60's / low-70's, and yet feeling sticky.
U.S. National Weather Service has issued a wind Advisory for San Jose. It'll be in effect from [Sunday] October 2th, 5:00 AM PDT until October 24th, 8:00 PM.
It's a beautiful, calm, cloudy morning today but there's a wind advisory tomorrow. Gotta make hay while the sun shines today, probably roast tomorrow, hope for no power cuts.

facebook video worked for me.
That looks more like damage from a hurricane...
I mean, yeah, I did want a new garage, but c’mon.
Thunderstorm + 80 mph winds
Oh, my! Good luck getting that sorted out, Calvin.
Patrick can build you a new one over the weekend. I'll supervise.

80mph wind in a thunderstorm???
I don’t think it actually reached 80, but that’s what the weather alert said about an hour before it happened.
Ouch, glad you're ok Calvin and I hope this works out for the best.
Glad you are ok Calvin
I'm guessing you did not take shelter in the garage.
Fix it. You can post it up in the I hate remodeling thread.
Seriously, glad everyone is safe.
Trapped in the People's Communist Republic of Massachusetts.
Nights have started to cool down, hopefully fall is not far off. Still mid to upper 80's during the day.
Don't let the wife know what you spend on guns, ammo or cigars.
Had a ultra rare mini cool front come through, was 64 out this Morning!
Even thought it'll be cooler today, it's a "Scorcher".
Forecast for today is no work, so beautiful!
Another "Scorcher" today.
