The floor scrubber needs to go away. It hasn't worked well for years and the company's too cheap to get the parts I need to fix it.

I'm still troubled by what I did for that Klondike bar...

I have never seen a floor scrubber that does work well

I know the feeling I was in the same boat, then they got me a new building and want me to keep it looking new. No longer a problem.

Spent much of the day a putting together a gamer computer tower for my daughter. Hardware is complete except for dressing down the cables, now it needs an OS.

Went out to the garden tonight and buttoned up our kale and collard beds cause there is a cold wind storm coming. Looked up into the night sky and observed the conjunction of Saturn and Jupiter. This is the first time it has happened in several hundred years. Nice to see things working.

Just had to explain to a customer service rep for a certain cigar company that when someone orders a box of 12 Morphines, they expect to get a sealed box of 12 Morphines...Lol they sent me a 5 pack instead on top of it all! Rep said "well normally when are customers buy a box they just want the cigars not the box"...I seriously couldn't believe she just told me that. I am still shaking my head.

You're in the clear, it was from Luxury Cigar, they have only been in business since 2018 which shows since the packer put a fvcking 5er in the shipping box instead of a box of 12 Morphine Lancero's. It says on the packing slip in the shipping box, box of 12 morphine lancero, order # etc.

I've had some orders from different companies be messed up but never ever told on the phone that "are customers prefer just the cigars out of the box and not the box, thats why we didn't ship it with your order" I told her Ma'am I'm not just missing the box... I'm missing 7 cigars...AND the box. I kindly explained that cigar aficionado's that buy boxes, expect to get a SEALED box unless otherwise noted. I had to seriously explain that I don't take cigars out and throw the box away... I put the box with the damn cigars in it in my humidor.

She did send me a couple emails after the call with tracking# and how sorry they were, I think they were quite embarrassed at their shop.

Thats crazy sorry for all the frustration. Hopefully they'll end up doing right by you

As nice as it is to receive the box sealed it's not really that important to me. There's probably more than one good reason why a box would be unsealed that I'm not aware of and don't see any actual risk with it arriving in that condition.

Made some coffee, ate some oatmeal, went through the incoming packages in the quarantine rack and put together a Mopnado spin mop. I also found a good box for my daughter's Secret Santa gift package and packed and labeled it for shipping pickup. I emptied my mailbox and found my Ken Byron Festivus Mixture and Festivus GT which was delivered yesterday and stuffed in the box and not purloined by porch pirates at all.

It's high noon here and I've enjoyed no tobacco products yet today. I'm thinking of making a batch of no-knead Rye bread dough and baking a loaf from it today, if I can find the motivation to put in the time on it.

Chasing electrons on the tug. Lights won't work; it's not the switch, the fuse, or the lamps. And just for fun it doesn't match the wiring diagram in the manual.

    well that leaves the wires.

  • Amos_UmwhatAmos_Umwhat Posts: 8,825 ✭✭✭✭✭

Just don't let the smoke out of those wires. That's never good.
