One big blind spot that I see, especially for hardcore Christians, is that they seem to think that their morals are universal, when in fact morals are deeply personal. Although it's true that probably every single one of us have the same 96% of morals, it is also true that that last 4% is as different as the DNA between humans and monkeys. So when one person is seemingly forcing his own values on another, it can be viewed as oppressive.
and for the record, I don't even care about the threads you are talking about. Leave them up, take them down, it doesn't enhance or reduce my enjoyment of this place 0.1%.

I do not know how religion got into this. Trump has done and is doing most of what he said he would. 250 miles of fence built and 250 more starting up, a few billion bucks being added as we speak. Calling him a racist because he wants border security (you can look up all the democrats calling him racist, wanting and saying the same thing, and worse, until the onset of TDS). But they are power hungry democrats and libs, it is the norm now. They know no bounds and have very selective memories. Economy is great, more people of all races and genders and backgrounds employed then the previous 16 years. After his rhetoric it was hard to vote for him. But the single most corrupt politicians in our history, the clintonistas, were not even a choice. I do wish he would stop his d.amn tweets, even though some are well thought out traps and in a lot of cases they worked. They just cause too much trouble and are nothing but fodder (often misquoted and out of context) for the water carriers at the MSMs. Just think, if the tweets stopped half of the c.rap democrats and the MSMs would have to make up even more. How far can TDS carry them?
