    No Not Ever

I am glad to see my thread has taken off with lots of information and opinions. My Grandfather (90) got both rounds of the Moderna vaccinations. Dad's going to get the Pfizer next week. Mom said hell no for any vaccine and same still goes for me.

Did anyone else read that it’s only considered effective for 3 months? After 3 months CDC considers you unvaccinated. Has there been a quarterly booster schedule discussed?

2 weeks to flatten the curve.

3 months before... we charge you for your next round?

    "We will beat this virus!"

How many lies will we hear before this ends?

    or

How much is infinity times infinity?

    Same thing.

P.S., I should add, I've had both rounds of the Moderna. Vaccines do make sense. Even if the government doesn't.

Dad got the Moderna today. The Pfizer he was so post to get was unavailable when he got to the place deep in Houston. He said no PIP (Post Injection Pain), will see tomorrow or the next day how his arm feels.

But based on clinical trials, experts do know that vaccine-induced protection should last a minimum of about three months. That does not mean protective immunity will expire after 90 days; that was simply the time frame participants were studied in the initial Pfizer, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson trials. As researchers continue to study the vaccines, that shelf life is expected to grow.
In the real world, the protection should last quite a bit longer, though the length of time still needs to be determined with further studies, experts said.

From the CDC. It seems that you may have read conjecture.

We don’t know how long protection lasts for those who are vaccinated. What we do know is that COVID-19 has caused very serious illness and death for a lot of people. If you get COVID-19, you also risk giving it to loved ones who may get very sick. Getting a COVID-19 vaccine is a safer choice.

Experts are working to learn more about both natural immunity and vaccine-induced immunity. CDC will keep the public informed as new evidence becomes available.

Basically, they don't know what they're doing, that don't know what will happen, they just know you should get vaccinated. Just because. So far, all I've heard from our overlords is lies and b*llshit.

In the "real world" masks are not working and yet we still have to wear them. Just saying, "real world" and their world are different.

Well, everyone needs a hobby, that's theirs, talented bunch, aren't they?

On a serious note, new infection rates have plummeted in Nursing Homes that are fully vaccinated. I'm told this by my son, who is currently working as Chief Medical Officer at a vaccination site in Los Angeles.

I'm glad for the vaccines, and think that anyone who wants one should have that option.

What I'm absolutely against is the proposed Vaccine Passport. That's infringement beyond all comprehension. Argue if you will, but doubtful I'll ever change my mind on that one.

the very idea of "passports" is itself an infringement on freedom.

Our government wants vaccine passport to travel, but no ID to vote? Is anyone buying into this horse ****?

Funny you should ask. Last night I watched Jimmy Kimmel asserting that "The Republicans, who want 9 forms of i.d. to vote, think this [passport] is a bad idea. What's wrong with them?"

I momentarily envisioned Jimmy Kimmel with a funnel full of bs on top of his head and a wind-up key inserted in his back. Just wind him up and bs becomes a comedy routine.

At any rate, it seems to me that those who neither understand nor desire freedom, i.e. The Democrats Today, are really all for this new form of control. This is obvious since they already have their propaganda machine oiled and fueled and spewing toxic ideas to the public in the form of news and entertainment.

    OK. Rant over.

    For now anyway.

    You watched Jimmy Kimmel?!

Lol. Yep. Used to listen to Rush, too. Jimmy's easier to stomach than Stephen Colbert. Listened to Glenn Beck last week. I'm well rounded, and fat, too.

If you want to know what kind of BS the Republicans are up to there are many choices, Jimmy among them. If you want to know what kind of nonsense the Democrats are up to, Glenn is a good choice. One thing's for sure, all of them are full of s*it.

Good question. You are allowed to divulge your own medical information. You can't violate your own privacy. They're forcing you to decide between your privacy and your ability to travel, just like the TSA does.

That stinks. My wife works for a major medical equipment company and they told all employees that they could not ask or be told to get the vaccine because it would violate hippa laws? She does not have to go back in the office so she is happy to work in our little redneck paradise.

I'll get it as soon as I'm allowed as breathing on my own and up taking oxygen is something I really enjoy. My kids too.

My wife is vaccinated as she is an RN who has been working in a covid unit at her hospital since last June. She is going to need therapy when all this is over. She lost her aunt and uncle in June to covid.
