Dang dude! You jump in with both feet, don't you? I'm impressed!
It's usually hard to get someone into pipes. So often, they'll start with a cob, nothing wrong with that, some cheapass cigarette tobacco disguised as pipe tobacco, (it says Pipe Tobacco right on the bag), and every time they don't get a big full puff of smoke they reach for a lighter instead of their tamper.
Then you hear from them: "I guess it's not for me." Then they preach that garbage to anyone else who shows an interest. "Oh you wouldn't like that. It smells good, but burns your mouth and is just nasty."
I guess the learning curve is just too much for some folks.

I am enjoying the different flavors of different types of tobacco and find it to be relaxing. I don’t always have time for a stick so I can fill my pipe accordingly and make a few minutes for myself. It will definitely be something I continue in the future.

That's probably my biggest selling point on pipes. The smoke time can be adjusted easily. I can't count how many times I've wanted to smoke a certain cigar that takes at least an hour to enjoy at a relaxed pace but I only had 20 free minutes so I went without. With my pipe I can pick my smoke and then load for how much time I have. Also barring pipes that cost in the hundreds of dollars and rare collectible tobacco, it's very economical.
It’s gotten pretty overwhelmingly positive reviews but it seems kind of expensive. I'm still waiting for someone to carry both Mississippi and plum pudding before I order any.
I'll be trying out this Big Ben nosewarmer soon! This flu has almost run its course, nearly 6 weeks of anguish, only been sneaking in a desperate smoke once or twice but I am nearly there. With spring right around the corner, I can't wait to get some quality smoking time in.

No secondary this year. Last year I had a bronchial infection but this year I used Mucinex DM but it still lasted the same time. Still have some mucus and breathing issues to deal with, but mostly kicked it. Serious stuff.

@Stubble hit me up hard... I need a decoder ring to figure out what's what. Seriously looking forward to running each of these. That box released an unbelievably wonderful aroma when I opened it! Thanks, Steve!!!
I'm still troubled by what I did for that Klondike bar...
My picture taking skills are poor, I even wiped the pipe down beforehand and apparently the cloth I used left tiny flecks. Bah, whatever. This blue alligator is probably too good for me, man is it purdy.

I don't remember asking @Stubble about KBV blends, but he hit me with some Latakia blends, Mountains of Madness and King's Ransom that I'm looking forward to trying.
Thanks, Steve!

6 weeks? Yikes. Did you get a secondary infection or just the flu? Hope you are 100% soon.

Saint-clare (?) Ropp bent & stand along with a tin of Davidoff Blue. This rabbit hole's deeper than I expected.

I asked @Stubble about KBV blends, and I found out the hard way. Thanks brother.
My favorite cigar list here
Hope you find something you like in there!
