I had my annual physical today. While the doctor was doing the prostate exam, I thought about moaning and softly calling his name, Gary, but he's an old guy like me so I figured it's not a good idea.

In line now for the drive-thru flu clinic and drinking the best coffee I've roasted all year. I increase the drop temp by 20 degrees c and ended the roast in the middle of first crack when the beans starts smelling great.

Company's mandating flu shots. Haven't had one since 1999 when i retired from the service. Haven't had the flu since then either. Tyrants.

Went to the VA yesterday. Got drive through swabbed, waited in my truck for a hour and a half. Got a phone call that I was good and went in to my annual appointment, and to the lab. Three hours and I was out. Sure is different and seemed like there were fewer vets in the halls. All the folks in the hospital were masked and gloved up. Glad to see all the precautions.
