Did you lose your old hives or are you bees moving to new ones?

Had an uncle that was into bees, now have a young niece with a few hives.

Don't let the wife know what you spend on guns, ammo or cigars.

Ran 100 to 140 hives , then came the pandemic. We were overwintering in Ga and couldn't go get them (sold them to a friend who let us use one of his yards. We are starting fresh this year with 7 small colonies. Will try to split mid May and once more at summer solstice. Would like to have between 15 and 20 strong to go into winter with. If all goes well 40 by next winter.

I got a fiver on some honey when your up and running!

Trying to think of a label for cigars, pipes, and honey. May have to have some kind of contest. We have one for the honey we sell, but a fun one for people of like mind may be sort of cool.

I had to throw the dogs into lockdown as I was outside enjoying my cigar due to a nearby skunk. Luckily none of my dogs got sprayed tonight, I think Gigi has gotten the clue, she was growling and shaking but didn't try to go confront the skunk tonight.

My dog got sprayed by a skunk once it's not a pleasant experience. Glad you were able to avoid it.

I don't have problems, just more work to do.

Got a deficit of joie de vivre bordering on anhedonia this month. The state of our culture weight heavy on my heart.
