Had a Dominico.... Worst cigar I've ever had! That includes swishers and black and mild....
I had one about 2 or 3 months ago and I thought it was AWEFUL! I had some serious burn issues, it was disgusting. I tossed it after about 20 mins. I have one more that I bought at the same time I bought the last one, hopefully it is better than the last one, I might have to fire it up soon to see how it smokes.

I am planning on lighting one up tonight, it has been far too long (about a month) since I have enjoyed a cigar. It's so incredibly cold here now though that it might not even bo worth it (a low of 31 degrees tonight). Hopefully I can find a warm spot to light up!

A RP Vintage 90 robusto tonight. Had a really strong minty taste right off the bat which was wierd. That slowly faded away and the rest was pretty good until I was forced inside by the cold.

So, today has been a downer cigar wise. I started out with a 5 Vegas Cask Strength II which was great. The bad thing was my torch lighter broke while I was touching it up. No biggie though. I decided to try and cap my day off with a Diesel. It couldn't even finish it. Horrible draw, wrapper cracking. I have no idea what happened, but I got roughly half way through and gave up. It sucks because it's my last one, and the draw that I was getting was damn good. So, I'm trying to make up for it with a RP Puro Cubano. So far, it's decent. It's a little harsh, but I think that's because I had to use a plastic lighter and torched the end a little.

Had an awesome dinner while watching Flash Forward, decided to grab one of my high end sticks tonight. I went with the El Triunfador!!!!!! This is the first time I have smoked this cigar and after I nubbed the hell out of that cigar I was online checking out some box prices, lol

I smoked this cigar without any bias, I did not read any reviews on it or anything. I knew it was a Cab Maduro in a lancero form, but I've never had a Cab Maduro before lol! I loved this cigar, I am seconds away from buying a box. If you haven't tried one I HIGHLY recommend.

    Peace, Nick

Smoking a JDN Antano Belicoso to celebrate my daughter's birth. I have two Padron 1964's set aside for me and a good friend to smoke a little later. Man, this cigar is a pretty good cap to the best day of my life.

That's a good one Nick. I'm surprised you can still find a box, everywhere I look is sold out and has been for some time...I should have jumped on it when I had the chance.

Still sick.....this blows! No H1N1....just the regular flu

Missed three days of work too which makes me feel totally useless. I think I may give a call to some of the guys and hit up the B&M on Saturday. At least I hope....

Tonight was a RP Royal Vintage for me. I thought it was a very nice, tasty medium body smoke. I had issues with the wrapper, but I'm sure it was just that I didn't let it settle down long enough in the humi for the RH to level out properly. Still, it was good enough for me to ponder buying a box.

I did a box split not too long ago when these were the weekend blitz, well worth it! They are on the Clearence page right now (http://www.cigar.com/sales/index.asp?t=clearance) for like $70 a box, I reccomend getting one!

Just finished up a Diesel Unholy Cocktail. Was a good 1 1/2 hour smoke that burned impeccably. I did taste a bit of youth in the first third, but it leveled out rather well and gave off great flavor with just enough sweetness to go along with a savory spicy character. I found it pretty enjoyable. Great stick at the price tag!

Today was a pretty disappointing cigar day. I started by trying to burn off a couple of Arganese robustos I received as a free sampler. They aren't bad by any stretch, but the Connecticut I started with was a step above boring and started getting bitter halfway through. I laid that one down and lit up a maduro, while the flavors were typical maduro, the draw was so tight that I couldn't get any smoke going...I didn't feel bad laying that one down virtually unsmoked as it didn't cost me anything but a little time. A bit later was a Joya de Nicaragua Clasico criollo torpedo, I enjoyed my first one, but this one just didn't have the same thing going for it, maybe my palate was still a bit tainted from the previous cigars. After letting several hours and some food in between cigars, I lit up a Padilla Cazadores torpedo which, like the first one fresh off the truck, was thoroughly disappointing in all regards from burn to flavor, a lengthy bit of rest is due for the remaining three. Finally to cap off the night I had the only good cigar all day, a Partagas Lusitania that clocked in somewhere over 2 hours...the short version is that this is a very well made cigar and an excellent blend of tobaccos, the flavor is very well balanced with its strength and the construction is top notch, sadly I have no more of them, but I would not hesitate to buy more in the future.

I'm not writing it off just yet, but it definitely needs some downtime to hopefully make it right. I'm hoping a few months will be sufficient, but if it doesn't improve by then I might just scratch it off my list as well.

Right now I'm toward the end of a Gurkha master select grand reserve no.4. It is my first Gurkha and I came into it unbiased, but have seen a lot of love and hate for Gurkha. I am lovin' this cigar! It is the first enjoyable conny wrapper I have tried, and all round has been a very pleasurable smoke. Great burn, great draw, great construction, very good mild/medium flavor and very consistent throughout. So for me, that's one notch on the good side for Gurkha in my book. I'm looking forward to trying the other 8 flavors I have in waiting to try :^)

I think I got the same Arganese sampler, I was afraid they wouldn't be very good. I did enjoy the Clasico Crioolo though, but then I have only had one of those. I'm also a little dissapointed to see this about the Padilla, I was pretty excited to try them. Thanks for the heads up on the Arganese and Padilla.
