Smoking my first Man O War after cutting the grass. It's a Ruination and so far so good. I was expecting a little more I guess. Just not too much flavor going on. I have 2 more and I'll def enjoy them but I wanted more out of this thing.
EDIT: Just noticed this gar is the #7 out of top 10! Ok. I'm a noob at this and I just figured what I was doing wrong and missing the flavor! Now I'm totally enjoying the cigar and feel like a idiot for wasting about half of it, arghhh! Damn good cigar guys.
I was going to say you might need to rest them for a while, but now you got me curious. What were you doing wrong?
I just have to make it through work tonight and tomorrow night and I'll get to have a smoke finally... Big storms about to roll through here right now... Oh yay...
Gran Habano 3 SLS Gran Robusto. Normally not my nightly smoke but the size was right considering this is only the second night this year that I don't need a winter jacket. In fact, I'm still in a tee shirt.
Just had a Cuba Libre Epicure. Don't know why, but I have a soft spot for these. Nice when I don't want to concentrate on the smoke, but still want to enjoy flavor/aroma.
Just finished a Nub Cameroon (while breaking in the fire pit and enjoying the first good Wisconsin night in a while). If comfort food were a cigar, this might be it.
Just finished a Joya De Nicaragua Dark Antano in the torpedo size and i almost called 911...wow, this one kicked my ***! I think i need to try this in the corona size (peligroso). I have 10 of these left....im going to die soon! GULP!
Black pearl Morado. Seriously the single ugliest wrapper I've ever seen on a cigar. The entire thing was covered in sun spots and water spots. Also pulled a tree branch out of it before lighting... veins that large tend to burn VERY bitter...
