Hello all! Tim (45) from Columbus, Ohio here. I've been smoking cigars for years now, but all of a sudden got D**N serious about it within the last few months! It's very nice to be here in this great forum enjoying the incredible pleasure that is the "Cigar Life"
"When I have found intense pain relieved, a weary brain soothed, and calm, refreshing sleep obtained by a cigar, I have felt grateful to God, and have blessed His name." - Charles Haddon Spurgeon
Hi I'm Fairly new to cigars <6 months. Just now learning how to enjoy them and develop my palate and preferences. Enjoying trying lots of different sticks. I'm always looking for suggestions on something new to try. I've attached my most recent order feel free to comment and let me know what to expect if you have a favorite I'm interested to try the 5 Vegas sampler
I'm looking forward to trying the black market. I'm 29 live in Texas with the wife and two kids. Shoe horses and cowboy for a living. I generally enjoy a cigar in the evenings around the fire pit. Weather permitting...
Welcome Tim and Jmb. This forum is a great group of guys (and gals) that love cigars and love to help new guys who have just discovered cigars. One of the best ways to explore new flavors is to develop one-on-one relationships with members of this forum by becoming an active trader. Look for the "Newbie Trading Thread". We will be glad to help you out. And, once you get started with us, the cigar horizon will seem endless, and it is.
Kinda sounded like I'm trying to entice you to join a cult? Well,............. Kinda. Haha.

Welcome y'all!!! And yeah like @Bob_Luken ; said.....
Welcome @Jmb_ranch .. Some great guys on here with tons of knowledge eager to spread the disease.
If your not aware be sure to store those acids separate from your other sticks.. As far as your purchase it appears most or of the mild side and I'm not familiar with milds other then Ave Maria amaculletta (butchered the name I'm sure) which is a pretty good stick with coffee. If you find you prefer more mild you may try man o war virtue.
That 5 Vegas sampler was a very smart buy as it will give you a pretty good idea of the range of mild to full.
Thanks kswildcat yes I have a Tupperware box for my infused. I seam to like a wide range in strength I tend to smoke the milder ones about 2:1 quicker than the full flavors. I will defiantly try those Man o war virtues on my next order.
Remember smoking fast will lose flavor and can turn into bitter. Try to pace yourself on the milds to get the flavor they offer. You want the cigar to burn as cool as possible. Try to pace yourself like smoking a stronger cigar
@JMB, tried the Oliva Connecticut Reserve, enjoyed it. That Black Ops torpedo was the first cigar I ever nubbed. I'm a Mac fan so you can figure what I'd say about those, too.
