Hey everyone, newbie here. I've been smoking cigars randomly(mainly celebrations) for many years. Since it was few and far between I always went with the same cigar I knew I liked. However, for the past couple months I have been smoking regularly so I started trying to have a more diverse selection. I bought a humidor and have been buying the sampler packs to find one's I like because I have no idea what brands are good or not. I really enjoyed the CAO La Travista and the Romeo by R&J so I bought packs of those. Looking through the threads you guys seem to have a lot of knowledge about cigars I had no idea existed. I have learned a lot over the past week or so reading through the posts and look forward to learning a lot more.9

Welcome to the show! There are some very knowledgeable folks here (I'm not one of them). Read through the Cigar 101 category before asking anything...you'll most likely find an answer there first.I'm still troubled by what I did for that Klondike bar...0

Welcome. Use the samplers to help define a general type you like and these guys will give you plenty of suggestions to try that fall within your tastes. Now this is not the end of the cigar. It is not even the beginning of the end of the cigar. But it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning of the cigar.0

Welcome! Buy a sampler from @Bigshizza. Way better than any sampler that you can find online, both in quality and value! I've bought a couple already. The thread for it is in the trades passes and bombs category. Also, join the v herf on Tuesdays and Saturdays!@ScotchnSmoke sux lots of large wéiners. And tons of small ones.4

I like this guy already. Welcome aboard @ZEB285 -
He's not going to fit in with the other newbies at all....@ScotchnSmoke sux lots of large wéiners. And tons of small ones.4

Welcome @ZEB28 I like both sticks you mentioned. CAO La Traviata Maduro was one of my first go-to cigars. I like to say this more often than I should, but you'll learn more here than at your local cigar shop. What we have here is a concentrated group of cigar enthusiasts and we have a good time.2

Thank you for the warm welcome everyone.1

The following is a Public Service Announcement concerning new arrivals to the forum. This week was not normal. Do not be concerned with the conflict you may have witnessed here on the forum. Again, this is not normal. Things should return to normal very soon. Enjoy your stay. Thank you.
