@Amos_Umwhat Thanks for the advice. The boxes do take some work. I probably haven't put the effort into it that i should. I'll give it another whirl. At least i know where to start from now. Thanks!
Wooden humidors do take work, but can usually be made to maintain a relatively stable humidity. The question is do you really want to put all that work into it when there's better ways to store your cigars. Those better ways also leak so little that your Boveda's will last a long, long time between recharges/replacements.
Still, I understand the draw of having a nice humidor to have cigars stored in.

@Yakster Agreed No doubt they take a lot more work. But there’s something about when you open that lid and the smell it gives off etc You don’t get that from plastic.

I agree with peter, I still use one wood humidor (inside a cooler). When I take the wood humidor out and open it, the odor is the same as one of coolers (awesome tobacco).

Hello, All! Hopped on to search for answers to my seasoning questions and signed up. Been into cigars for years, but interest and time dropped off, cuz life got in the way. Picked up a 'Good' glassless 100 ct humidor and am on Day 3 of seasoning with the Boveda 84's. I have a couple of Bluetooth hygros (1 on the bottom / 1 up top) that i calibrated over the last couple of days. Both up around 73% and only slightly pausing their slow climb. As I have gained a little patience over the years, I'm sticking it out for 11 more days and am glad I got the Bluetooth hygros that i can just look at on the phone. Hope to learn a lot from the forum, which I'm sure I will after browsing through posts already this morning. Have a great day and hope to speak with as many of you as possible over the coming days, months, years, etc......

I promise no questions. For now. Except, do you have a remedy for impatience? I pledge to search first for answers.
Yes. Boveda and Rubbermaid Brilliance.
Get 20-30 cigars. Insert them one by one into the Brilliance. Insert desired Boveda RH. Cover. Once this is performed. Open once a day to remove cigars and smoke immediately. Repeat as many times a day as desired. You can also add a photo of the cigar that was removed in the “What are you smoking .......” thread.
