Picked up another André Mermet pipe and a Sasieni Four Dot Buckingham from the family era.

I would suggest you try the aro in a cob first, you don't want to semi-permanently flavor the briar if you decide you don't like it, especially since it won't have a cake built up in the bowl that you could ream out. I would break it in with 1/2 bowls of a virginia or va/burley blend for a while.

Everything else I bought was English so I will probably just stick to smoking that out of the Boswell, and use the corncob with everything else.

    That's a nice looking pipe :)

I smoked a bowl out of it last night, and it is the nicest pipe I've ever smoked. My one complaint is the photo made it look like it would sit flat, but the bottom is a little rounded and it tips a bit. I bought a pipe stand so hopefully it fixes that problem. Still haven't tried the Christmas Cookie yet. I ordered some cigars and forgot about them they took so long. I will have to post a picture, but yesterday I got the pipe, 7oz of tobacco, two boxes of Cubans, and six different lost and found series.

Found another Custombilt at an estate sale. One of the smallest ones I've seen.

That's a sweet haul you go there. I think you may have an addiction forming though.

I went from 6 pipes at the beginning of this year to 100 in my personal collection. I have about 45 more either for sale or in process of being restored. Each time I find an estate lot I usually keep something. My last big haul I ended up keeping 15 Savinelli pipes. I'm a fan and just couldn't part with any of them. Honestly I've been lucky on my finds and I just keep putting restoration money back into getting more. It's a nice cycle. Funny thing is I'm not smoking anymore but I am trying out lots of new shapes and styles.

Found this Dr. Grabow Deluxe at the antique store today. Not a fan of Dr. Grabow at all but this little nose warmer has a unique waved bowl and I've never seen a short one like this.

Another excellent pipe package arrived today.
Peterson's Hand Made 2 Made in the Republic of Ireland.
Peterson's Straight Grain Made in the Republic of Ireland.
Theodor USA Handmade - Anyone ever heard of them? Internet searches come up empty. I'm thinking an old pipe shop?
Stanwell 87R with a REG'D No I can't read and it is also stamped Theodor. Think it was made for or sold by that shop?
Comoy's Extraordinaire 1930's-1950's had the 3 part C logo on stem
Comoy's The Guildhouse London Pipe 800
Dunhill 1959 Panel Shell Briar ODA 836 S
Sasieni Four Dot (family era) Natural Burton
    Ser Jacopo Maxima S2
Charatan's Make Special 461DC Lane Era
Needless to say it's going to be hard to decide what to keep and what to sell.

I hate to brag but I’m going to anyway because this is too amazing to keep to myself. I’m always looking for estate pipes and yesterday I was contacted by a lady that had some for sale. She sent pics and I recognized a few Peterson’s but not much else. It was hard to tell from the pics. So we met and I got an insane deal on these:
    Ferndown REO Les Wood
    Dunhill Shell 43051 - 1980
    Dunhill Redbark 433 - 1977
    Dunhill Shell 41039 - 1980
    Dunhill Bruyere 41052 - 1979
    Savinelli Autograph Grade 6
2 - Savinelli Le Mie Pipes
    Larsen Rustica
    Larsen Super Grade 8
    Nat Sherman 500
    North Dane Pipes
    Peterson’s Sherlock Holmes Strand
    Peterson’s Sherlock Holmes Hansom Smooth
    Peterson’s Sherlock Holmes Hansom Rustic
    Peterson’s Pipe of the Year 1997 - 84/1000
    Peterson’s Pipe of the Year 1998 - 841/1000
    Peterson’s 999 Army Spigot Black
    Peterson’s 875 Army Spigot Black
    Peterson’s Tankard
    Peterson’s Sterling Silver
    Stanwell Hand Christian Anderson
    Jørn Larsen 1
    Sasieni Fantail Pat Era 78
    Sasieni Fantail Pat Era 62
    Sasieni Fantail Pay Era 73
    Caminetto 06•L•15
    Caminetto 05•L•15
    GBD Oxford
    GBD Sablee
Two no names a Peterson’s bowl and a bunch of bags. Nice thing is all the stems are near perfect and most look like they have little cake in them. Mostly just dirty from sitting in a box. Still can’t believe my luck.

Cigars were made to be smoked, whiskey was made to be drank and women were made to be loved. The only thing I try to age is myself.

    My goodies have started arriving.
My wife made me put the box in the basement. That GH is putting off enough "stank" you can smell it through the bag, bubble wrap, and the box. I need to get this stuff jarred up before Mrs Call kicks me out to sleep under the porch with the dogs

Damn, that’s a lot of cobs. Make sure you pull the filters before you puff.
