Damn but you have some beautiful pipes. I'm shopping for my second one and I was showing my wife pictures of other people's collections. She said "I hope you are going for quality over quantity..." I heard that as buy whatever you like as long as it's not cheap.Stubble said:Jacono Pipes and the style is Pawn Bent Apple.

Here is a pic. I am going to buff the stems up carefully since they had to travel. The bowls were already restored by me. The Ser Jacopo stem was sent in to an authorized repair shop. The coral dot had fallen out and I wanted it replaced. Coral dots came in some different shades and they were used on older Jacopo pipes. Newer ones have a different dot that I believe is red or a silver J. The stem comes back to me with the coral dot and it looks great. Took it to the buffer and on my last step the wheel snags it and shoots it into my workbench and puts a dent in the shoulder of the stem. That is the part that butts up against the pipe. I tried to repair it and jacked it up even more so I send it back along with a Briar Workshop pipe that was missing a stem. The shop had used their last original and authentic Jacopo coral dot on my stem. I wanted it repaired if possible since it's original but I said if it couldn't be fixed send a Jacopo replacement back. He fixed it so I still have my original stem and it looks amazing. The Briar Workshop stem looks fantastic too. I got that in the summer with my big 17 Savinelli long pipes score. Here is a couple pics. Keeping both of these for myself. I'm hoping to learn how to make stems this year. I'll be investing in a tenon turning tool soon. That way I can at least turn and fit replacement stems. Any questions about repairs or supplies or replacement stems message me.

It's my second briar. Almost bought it first but wanted something more traditional. Decide last week I really wanted this one.jsnake said:

The other week, I made a comment of not knowing a tobacco, but liking the pipe in the picture. Get a PM saying he is sending a sample of Squadron Leader. No return fire needed. I took the wife to Marathon Key and come home to a nice surprise.
Of course the Tobacco needed a few body guards for the trip.
Return fire? Maybe not today, but when @Stubble isn't thinking about it .........
THANKS Brother , much appreciated.

Yet another big order. Little bit of restock. Little bit of new. Not pictured is 4 ounces each of bulk McClelland 2030 Balkan and G&H dark birds eye. After my last bombing raid this puts me at 22 pounds give or take an ounce

Feeling froggy? I am. The remnants of my big order wandered in. They were backordered just enough that they made a second shipment
