Electrical engineer by degree, project manager job title, 7 yrs outside of New Orleans, 3 yrs Brazil, 2 yrs Soda Springs, ID, 16 yrs Augusta, GA. If you add those up it means I'm old.
Mostly I do $5m+ control system upgrades every couple of years with large projects sprinkled in. Completed a $110M "ground up" production process for a large pharma company I work for. We were ready to water batch it, to test it out, and my company called and said "nah - we ain't gonna run it" so it is now mothballed. Never will figure that one out.

I make stuff. Here is a 64" hickory bow that I'm almost finished with. It is a "self" bow made from a stave I split out of a log several years ago. Drawknife, spokeshave, rasps, and scrapers.I steam bent the tips to give it more snap. 52 lbs at 26" draw.
It blew a coolant hose and then once we got that fixed, the lift/fuel pump decided to go. It was one thing after another, then they broke a pin on the backhoe, so I had to weld that back up to keep it going. So they were able to finish the job.
So looks like tomorrow, I go back in the morning to square them both away.
