@Amos_Umwhat Well said. it was all caused by the Reefer Madness days. I once counseled my 15 year old niece about it. I told her marijuana by itself is relatively harmless, but it never walks alone, and it's friends are killers
Did you know that the cotton and timber industry lobbied hard to have it banned? Hemp industry was killing the pulp and cotton industries. Hemp can grow almost anywhere in almost any conditions and cost a third to grow and harvest than pulp.
The timber industry dump a lot of money into lobbying against it.
Yeah we have a few hemp farms going around here. Lotta uses for it.
Hit me up if you need any advise, I'm happy to help. Attitudes toward marijuana, across the country have shifted in the last decade. They still call it a gateway drug, and perhaps that's accurate, it was a gateway drug for me. I took my first hit, and realized I had been lied to about it all my life. It wasn't anything like I'd been told. The true problem came with my next thought. I wonder what else they've lied to me about? The other drugs are the life takers, and they ARE deadly. I sure wish I could go back in time to correct a few mistakes.
I'll definitely take you up on this.
"It's plume, bro. Nothing to worry about. Got any Opus?" The suppose to be DZR
Said it many pages back but I work for Apple as a Senior Technical Advisor in AppleCare, so when you have an Apple problem and call in you get to me at the top of the chit heap. Don't love it but takes care of me and the family well, hoping to get into the Training aspect of it in the next year or two where I would be much happier.

Ice cream mfg! Selling to restaurants, caterers, country clubs, and ice cream parlors throughout New England. But a lot of you knew that already! What other forum can you get pot and ice cream?!
So I am a normal indoor grower really just veggies but I see you use t-8's as the seedlings and Hp's'S for the adults...any reason for that? I've tried a ton of different lights and for me in the small space am just running cfl's since I don't need much power and the light colors seem to be better. I know Hp's'S are great have you tried any led stuff and what's your findings??
@Lee.mcglynn I veg with T-5 VHOs mostly because they're cheap to run. I've used thousand watt metal halide, you can see three big saucers hanging on a wall that I don't use anymore, but I didn't like the effect it had on the plants. The branches got long and spindly and could barely support their own weight. With these T-5s, the plants stack up really nice the branches are closer together. Then, when they begin to stretch the first couple weeks in flower, the node spacing gets pulled apart more, allowing for a bigger bud to grow. I use mostly HPS in flower, but the three middle hoods are dual sockets, in the 2nd socket of each I run a metal halide. that gives a nice balance of both ends of the spectrum. So even though you see 9 hoods, there are 12 bulbs running in that room, 1,000 watts each. Adding CO2, and the metal halide to my flower stage doubled my output. That would be the two biggest things that increased my yield that I can point to. I tried a few LEDs, but the tech just isn't ready for industrial use. We could never make it work, I still have them here somewhere. This bill is lower than it has been all summer....and it's for 2 warehouses side by side.. That's my monthly electric bill. Kind of makes you feel better about your own doesn't it? lol
I've said it before. I'm an Occupational Therapy Assistant and I specialize in Aquatic and Lymphedema therapy. I also have a formal education in Venetian Glassblowing.
First and foremost, I am a Preacher. To earn a living I am a Director of Security for one of the largest Security companies, in North America, I manage 2 sites for my client. For fun I make fudge, lol.

Ok first let me thank you all for the work you do and thanks for your service. I am disabled and on S.S.I I got hit by I car back in 1993 and messed up my back but before that I was in training to be a pastry chef. I love to bake (food not get baked lol ) but I can only stand for a short time without having pain. And I now take care of my mother and our cat lol

Having had 2 major back surgeries one because of a car wreck I understand what you're saying
@MikeTodd and @Sketch6995 I have watched glass blowers for hours. Mostly Joe Rice at St. Clair in Elwood, IN. That's got to be in Mike's neighborhood somewhere. He's at least in the right half of the state since all his pics have shown the land to be flat.
Intelligence is knowing that a tomato is a fruit; wisdom is knowing not to put it in a fruit salad.
I like Oliva and Quesada (including Regius) a lot. I will smoke anything, though.

Elwood is about two hours south east of me. There is also a glass factory in Kokomo, Indiana. However, I used to blow glass at the PA Renaissance Faire!
@Sketch6995 so I plan on growing outside. I have quite a bit of sun. Also, can I use urine to keep hydrated ? water is hard to come by out here
Reefer is a weed and grows regardless how abused it is. It does like a little sand mixed in the compost. I am not sure if THC is compromised when H2O starved. Hell the urine may increase THC. It gives you a good excuse to drink anyway. Good luck. Remember every plant you grow needs to be registered so don't think you can grow for personal use. If you need suggestions on harvesting and drying PM me.

Sounds like someone comes down rt 41 for some of that Newton County ditch weed!
I quit mixing my own soil long ago and went completely soilless. Sunshine number 4 aggregate mix. We stir in some Jamaican bat guano just before flower stage. It's basically pure peat, almost nothing in it.
I thought I was a mechanic, but it turns out I am a supporter and cash machine for my kids. Hopefully, I can quit that job very soon. Not likely, beings my kids don't seem to know how to do anything on their own.
In Fumo Pax Money can't buy happiness, but it can buy cigars and that's close enough.
