    Having a Rolling Rock right now whilst working on wedding planning/budget stuff. Gonna have a Bourbon Old Fashioned later and hopefully get a smoke in.

    I've been on such a beer kick lately I nearly forgot how nice a good glass of bourbon is. Sampler of Russell's Reserve, Woodford, and Four Roses SB tonight. yumm

    First Pumking of the season last night. This year's batch is spot on right now. Last year it felt a little early and the beer suffered for the first month or so until it settled. Just hit markets here yesterday and it's already drinking like a champ.

    Which one? Shipyard is SOOOO EFFING good this year! Just picked up Sam Octo. Meh..... No taste this year. Not a pumpkin but....... still meh. Drinking a Shocktop Shandy.... not bad... not great.

    Pumking by Southern Tier Brewery. The Shipyard Smashed Pumpkin (Pugsley's reserve) in the bomber bottle is pretty good - heavy on cinnamon. I'm not a fan of the Shipyard Pumpkinhead at all. Not brewed with pumpkin, just a mildly spiced wheat ale. If you want pumpkin pie in a glass, get Pumking.
