Nice! I might have to give that one a shot! I've had similar before including one like a Pina Colada. Our local brewery lets all the employees do pins (small kegs, maybe 2 gallons) once a year on their anniversary That one won the contest (voted by customers) on their 5th anniversary in 2018. Before anyone asks (as I did) the employees come up with the flavor...the brewers still do the brewing...
I've had some good bourbon barrel aged ale but you don't find them often. About 20 years ago a local brewery did what has become fairly standard - a bourbon barrel aged stout. They also did a bourbon barrel aged IPA. The IPA was one of the best beers I've ever had...they never made it again...said I was the only one who liked it!

One of the local distributors stumbled upon a case of Eclipse 50/50 out of Tahoe from 2016. MSRP was $25 back when originally sold. The have been stored in the back of a climate controlled warehouse for 3 years, and they were kind enough to sell me a couple at $10 a piece. I am looking forward to these bastards.

They have some good seasonal ones that never get bottled. There is an imperial coffee stout on tap now, and a black ipa that should be up around thanksgiving.
