If the woke crowd (or this particular kid) were willing to include even one athletic thing for this "healthy" mural, they might consider a soccer ball, but not a football, a basketball, or a baseball. That would be too much "Murica" for their delicate sensibilities.

Kids are kids and are dumb, parents know that. Parents are parents and are dumb, everyone knows that. But parents should at least act like parents, not like kids.
I’m surprised it’s this high considering the way “math” is supposedly being taught. I’m sure it is different in other areas, but here it is ridiculous. And reading? They don’t even teach kids how to read anymore. Phonics is not part of it. They teach word recognition. The days of learning to sound out words are over.
I had to teach both of my boys how to read and am continually teaching them how to use what math skills matter for everyday life.
