I have been watching the news and have not seen any of the networks saying they should not have rights. I have not watched it 24/7 but I have not seen this. All citizens regardless of their beliefs are entitled to rights in this country. However the platform they have been given lately should not be accepted.

I will say though that when the KKK and David Duke are praising the President for his comments it says a lot about how this has all played out. When you have Military Generals aligning to rebuke in unison says a lot also about what they think of this White House as well.
The only part of your comment I have knowledge enough to argue is the last few sentences. Where do you get the idea that Military Generals will rebuke against the white house? Our President may tweet some dumb things, but for the first time in several years our Military is being supported by a sitting President. Our last president forced out some of the strongest leaders our Military has had in generations. I have worked directly for a few of them this last 17 years and yes Gen McChrystal made an out of line comment, but we will be using his tactics for warfare for many years to come. Gen Odierno was the last soldiers General. I guess Gen John Kelly prior Commander of USSOUTHCOM before retiring is going against the President? Mr. Trump is currently giving more freedoms to his Generals to conduct business than any administration in our lifetime. Rules of engagement just changed the other day, politicians that never wore a uniform a day in their life should not be giving orders, the downsizing stopped, and troop moral of all colors and religions is up. I work with them daily, so I don't care what the news says, that is reality.

And I was poor in a rich school. But, we got along with each other. Sure, there was the occasional greaser insult but it never amounted to anything. We had a slew of debate clubs and shooting clubs. Teachers would open the class to debates on whatever was the subject of the day. It was actually fun because the teachers knew we all had our own opinions and you weren't going to be ostracized for them, and some actually changed their points of view.
What I am trying to say "can't we all get along" (sorry for that).
If this announcer story had happened then, it would have left everyone dumbfounded. We would probably not believe it, it had to be a joke.

We've spent too long protecting our kids from any adversity for them to know how to handle it. Unfortunately it's not completely recent. I had a 50 year old woman tell me it's not fair that she has to help her coworkers when they fall behind. It blew my mind. How does someone get to 50 and still believe life is fair?
