I was paying $276/mo for basic cable TV, phone and internet. Today I dropped off my cable box and canceled TV and phone. I only watch three channels and haven't had a phone hooked up in four years. $110/mo for faster internet and $84/year for AMC+. Now I just gotta figure out how to get Comedy Central and Cartoon Network streamed in and I'm good.

Did a give-away yesterday. I had a big wood lathe that I had not turned on in three years. I also have been mentoring a person I have known for 30 years and been friends with his parents for 40. Luke wants to be a craft professional and is now building Winsor chairs and turning bowls. His lathe quit last month. I had been toying with giving my big lathe to him over the past year. Timing is everything so I pulled the trigger. I told him to come and get it. I could have sold it for big bucks but Luke needed it. I believe doing the right thing is payment enough.
Lathe 3hp 24"x 8' right at 1000 lbs.
Out the door of my studio with pry bars, come-alongs, and muscle.

Definitely the right thing in my opinion Rodger. You know it will be used and appreciated. Sometimes that’s all that matters.
Funny thing about prices is people never notice when they go down. Our eggs were down to 1.49 for a dozen large recently. Probably the lowest they've been in a few years. Not sure where they are at right now though.
I basically became the store manager at the b&m i just went into in eau claire found 3 boxes with mold told them to please pull them and they gave me the punch I pulled for my buddy Co parent for free
Changed watch batteries in six or seven watches for my Wife tonight. She loves to buy them at the thrift store so she has a rather large collection. The Harbor Freight watch press came in handy to get the backs back on without cracking the crystal faces.

Traffic around these parts has been rough. The Highland Games is going on up at Grandfather Mountain about 15 miles away. There are 30 to 40 thousand people in kilts at the Games. We went up 25 years ago to watch the Border Collies herd ducks because at the time we had a Border Collie. You couldn't get me up there now for love nor money.

Everyone who is against child sex trafficking really ought to see the movie Sound of Freedom.
Weird, I've heard very little about this except it's a Q Anon conspiracy from the media. It beat Indiana Jones in its opening and now apparently there are several theaters where it is showing that oddly don't have working air conditioning.
It's difficult to not have conspiracy theories running through my mind on this one.

Had a chat with the ups driver, both sides walked away from the bargaining table, looks like a strike will happen starting Aug.1st.
That won't cause problems.

Heart beats.
Outstanding.
Come-alongs for the win.
No matter how much the lathe was worth, what's the use of having money if helping someone is worth more?
New wheel bearing on @MrsShrek85 ’s jeep.
I hate doing those.

FedEx left a box worth over 50k out on the side of the road rather than dropping it off at the shop. Sure glad I found it.
It’s probably best they didn’t know the value though
That would mean it wasn't insured....
5 dozen eggs or 12 pounds of gold?
eggs, definitely eggs

My sympathy, Rodger. Sounds like Cape Cod, every day in the summer.
