Got the bikes (human-powered) out today for the first time since November. 18.4 miles along the Susquehanna River. I faded almost completely at about mile 15. My wife was back at the car about 5 minutes ahead of me, just in the last 3 miles.
I've been building a rail fence. The rails and most of the posts I have been collecting and saving for years. Most are locust and will outlast me. I posted a while back half the fence three rails high. Finished up a two rail section today to complete the job. Now in the next day or so I will dig out a nice cigar for a reward.
See the mountains in the distance.
Thanks for the kind words guys. Since the rails were mostly locust I had to pre-drill and use Timber Loc lag screws.
A couple of our raised beds need rebuilding and when that's done I will start some flats of lettuce, plant peas, plant more spinach and then layout and draw the plans for a greenhouse.
Went out to the garden shed to pull the mower blade for sharpening and jumped four deer that were just on the downhill side of the shed. Does all no little ones yet.
Been experimenting with intermittent fasting for past couple of months. Mostly, 4/8/12 & 8/16 schedules. Today I completed my first 24 hour fast. All things considered, two hours of bjj last night, an hour workout this morning and 3 hours of yard work today, I feel perfectly good with no overwhelming hunger or fatigue.
@silvermouse I've been rocking the Garmin for years. Once you get the hang of it you’ll have more information than you want or need. Hopefully, you got one with solar charging. Battery life isn’t the greatest while using several of the doodads at once. Rock solid unit. Enjoy
I bought a 5 pack for 54 to try it out. I like it and i don't have to fold my mirrors in either.
The old one I used I had to be dead center to leave the mirrors out.
Found 4 16"by 20" paintings on canvas at the thrift store. Will over-paint them and start a series of mask paintings. Inspirations are the ceremonial masks made by the first peoples around the planet. Also found a nice little German carbon steel pairing knife and a C J Box novel I haven't read.

They're just watching to see if you planted the garden yet 😉
Timber Loc’s are rediculously expensive but absolutely worth it. Fence looks awesome.
A good cigar and whiskey solve most problems.

Just bought a Garmin fitness tracker/watch. Goodbye Fitbit/Google and your defective trackers.

Wife just saw a passel of hogs in the backyard. When I host a herd out here y’all might want to bring rifles and coolers.

Still stuck upstairs, waiting for @IndustMech to come and rescue me.
And the oral surgeon that did my implants told me this afternoon that everything is healing nicely and I can resume normal activities.
