I had a membership it was 30ish/month but now my bosses wife gave me a corporate card so I get a wash every Friday so I'm not abusing the perk but taking advantage of it.
I was finished w/ my first cup of coffee so I headed into the kitchen to start the second cup... I look out my window and what do I see? A nice blue Ford under my carport and a few squad cars in my alley.
The two female officers weren't forthcoming with any details other than "You're the homeowner here? We'll get this car out of here for you."
Apparently some woman was being pursued by the coppers and thought she could evade them here. I told her she was about 6 weeks late for the herf, LOL.
On Friday I told my brother I'd stop over on Sunday morning for a couple cigars. I still have yet to get dressed. No ambition to get off the couch. Final day of dipsaluscious vacation. Suppose I ought to do something today.

@ShawnOL You should get up and get over there. Don't take for granted that you have family in the area and a fellow cigar smoker. My family migrated to Florida.

Late last night in a Reddit r:audiophile post I learned about Radio Paradise, and online 'radio' station. It's really pretty awesome. I still haven't found the classical/orchestral stream - if there even is one - but the Rock, Mellow Rock, and World selections are very nice. Listening to the mellow now with my second cup of coffee, on my phone via Bluetooth to my stereo. Eclectic, never-heard-before music.
I didn't realize how much I've come to rely on Radio Paradise for background music until today when I noticed that they're down. Thanks for the suggestion, I hope they're back soon.

Went and picked up a water heater yesterday as there was no heat in the water yesterday morning. In the process of pulling the wires to replace it I ran across a red button so I pushed it, it clicked so I turned it back on and had hot water a few hours later. Will watch it a few days before returning the new one.

Closest one to here the “high end” wash is $12
Now that you two have mentioned it, I think i should wash my car, it's been 4 years and guilt is setting in.
@Rdp77 it cost @Jrflickster so much cause this is where he is going…

It'll pass.
That's why you buy a silver car, so you don't have to wash it!

It'll be fine once the swelling goes down.
$30/month, unlimited washes
The cost of everything here is higher here. Hence the higher wash prices. Works our to be the same.

I use soap, a five gallon bucket, a brush, and the hose. Wax and dry sometimes.

She is probably hiding in the basement amongst your cigars.

Went to the UPS store to return this to Amazon:
It’s lipstick on a pig. Just a fancy tube over a drill bit. Picking up a perfec draw instead.

We had 2 of our RTUs (Roof Top Units, Steve) at work today. 10 minutes to remove the old and place the new.
