Heated up leftovers for lunch for the family and made some spicy deviled eggs with the not-so-perfect hard boiled eggs with the yolks mixed in with habanero stuffed olives, almost the last of the Gray Poupon, and some turmeric.

Got stared on the front frame section on the rock truck today....Been awhile since I've bent some tube, three different angles hurt my brain a little....
Been pruning my massive and overgrown limelight hydrangea. Spent 2 hours on it today and am only about halfway done. Need to finish before we get ice tomorrow night
So you wanna work on airplanes..... That's about 10 lbs of sand on the lower surface of the Lear flaps. It's on borh sides. I can't use a pressure washer. Today's fun: bucket & rag.
I'm still troubled by what I did for that Klondike bar...
That's how it's s'posed to look. Plastic ice scrapers are magical. Took a total of 23 lbs of dried sand and de-ice powder off both wings and out of the main wheel wells. Yeah, I weighed it because I'm a nerd that way.

Loaded Instagram back on my phone in order to disabuse them of the idea that I really want to see photos of wooden spoons and wooden sailboats.
I've been browsing Instagram from my laptop lately, but I discovered that there's no way to tell Instagram that I'm not interested in seeing more of a certain type of photo from a laptop, only from a mobile device with the app installed.

Or, you could do like I do - kick the app to the curb and move along.... 🤣
Had a couple of friends drive a hour and a half up the mountain to my studio yesterday. One of them, Paul, teaches music at a high school in Asheville. Paul also plays Cello in the Asheville Symphony Orchestra. One of Pauls students was learning upright Bass and the students Bass fell over and the neck glue joint fractured. Last year I fixed a Violin for Paul that had the same issues.
I first had to determine what kind of original glue was used on the Bass. The Violin was put together with hide glue. I got my heat gun out and heated some of the glue joint. The glue didn't get soft with heat so we figured it was a epoxy. I shaved and rasped all the epoxy I could reach. I then
scored the joint all around to give it some tooth. We had to figure a way to clamp the neck in and settled on a ratchet strap around the body of the Bass. Mixed slow set epoxy, brushed it on, set the strap and lined everything up. Two hours and a cigar later it still was a little tacky. Paul had to leave and we did not want to disturb the glue up so he left the Bass. Paul promised to string the Bass and give me a lesson in Bass playing when he comes back next week. Great Trade.
It felt strange to wear pants AND shoes two days in a row, both of them weekend days. I'm not planning on making a habit of this.
Yesterday my eldest came over with her boyfriend for social distancing in the back yard, I spatchcocked a couple of small chickens and hasselbacked five potatoes for dinner.
Today we went over to my MILs house to give her an Amazon Fire tablet for her to use on our family Zoom calls. Her old chromebook was not working well at all and we were able to take an Amazon Fire 7 tablet and unregister it from Amazon and download the Zoom app from the Zoom website and get it to work great. These tablets go for like $40 so it's a good way to get someone up on Zoom. She doesn't have access to install any apps unless she links it with an Amazon account, though.

Had my new ride dropped off to me last week before leaving for vacation. Didn’t really get to drive it much before hopping on the place. Jumped in it today and realized..... inspection stickers are pretty important. Sitting here waiting. They also said “Your hood has some rust on it. We ordered a new one and will call you when it’s in. We just need to I’m paint it.” All covered by the dealer!
We took the new rv and a couple of pizzas down to the harbor to watch the sunset. Still figuring out the electronics, microwave works just fine on solar charged batteries
That's Rachel's ride. She promised she won't guilt me into crossing over the bridge more than once or twice a year. I don't travel well. "more than 32,000 people are killed and 2 million are injured each year from motor vehicle crashes." I don't travel unless I have to, as much as I would like to join in on the herf (sort of).
Septic line's plugged. Easy fix...
Until I find the line from inside the house to the tank is full of water and the tank is an ice ball. Called the pros. First time in 26 years I've had anyyhing freeze up and it's not even that cold.
I'm still troubled by what I did for that Klondike bar...

I'd probably piss my pants if I saw a big bull like that running in my direction.

Reminds me of a locomotive going through a snow drift.....
On they way home today
So was I behind the booby Mobile or the titty wagon
Wouldn't that be a motor-boat-home?
Ok - I may have tried too hard for that one.

I have to find a new checkbook register as this one with the 2009-11 calendar is just about used up lol
Rolled up the outdoor shade blinds. I liked them more when they came with cords to roll them up and down instead of needing a ladder.

How about a super soaker? At least try and have some fun shooting it off.
MOW badge received.

Awe man. That’s buckets of suck.
Aw, damn, hope you get a new position soon.

Permanent.
Ouch, sorry to hear that.

Can't wait to see you roll up to the MKE Herf in the new Herfmobile, Edward!
