So part of my job is being pushed off on two other employees and today they post two openings to fill the other parts.
The GM asked to speak to me in private, everyone including myself is thinking he’s going to thank me for everything I’ve done over the years. No, this f**knut talks **** and then tells me I should give everyone my cell number so I can answer questions for my replacements after I leave. I kept my composure and just laughed and walked away. What a d*ckhole.
Congrats guys...I have never chosen to seek out my birth parents or potential family. Not that I am against meeting any of them, just never felt the need or desire to look for them.....

If we're going to keep doing daylight savings we should at least turn the clocks back on a Monday morning.
Not, you don't really want everyone who forgot showing up to work an hour early, do you? It's Sunday morning to soften the impact. I once used daylight savings to get someone in a Blue county to sell me beer even though it was technically Sunday, I convinced them that it was still Saturday because of fall back, but I think that's why they change the time at 2:00 AM Sunday to keep the shenanigans down. If your at a bar that closes at 2:00 AM, I guess you get an extra long last call.

I just unsubscribed from a cigar email list. It's a very proud moment for me. Please join me in celebrating this accomplishment. And realize this; if I can do it, so can you!
"The first cynic appears to have been the Athenian philosopher Antisthenes (d. 365 BCE), who had been an ardent disciple of Socrates. Then came Diogenes (d. 323 BCE), the paradigm of the cynic, who took the simple life of Socrates to such an extreme that Plato called him "a Socrates gone mad."
Diogenes held that human beings had much to learn from the simplicity and artlessness of dogs, which, unlike human beings, had not "complicated every simple gift of the gods." In fact, the term "cynic" derives from the Greek kynikos, which is the adjective of kyon, or "dog."
Diogenes placed reason and nature firmly above custom and convention, which he held to be incompatible with happiness. Rather than pursuing wealth, renown, and other worthless things, people should have the courage to live like animals or gods, partaking in life"s pleasures without bond or fear.
The stories surrounding Diogenes, though embellished, or because embellished, help to convey his spirit. Diogenes wore a simple cloak which he doubled up in winter, begged for food, and sheltered in a tub. He made it his mission to challenge custom and convention, which he called the "false coins morality". Upon being challenged for masturbating in the marketplace, he mused, "If only it were so easy to soothe hunger by rubbing an empty belly." He used to stroll about in broad daylight brandishing a lit lamp. When people gathered around him, as they inevitably did, he would say, "I am just looking for a human being."
His fame spread far beyond Athens. One day, Alexander the Great came to meet him. When Alexander asked whether he could do anything for him, he replied, "Yes, stand out of my sunlight."
Wifey said she wanted to go to Hobby Lobby tomorrow. I thought I would look to see what cigar shops are nearby to do a little shopping myself. Used Google maps and they of course have pictures attached to locations. Found a place that sells cigars with plume already on them. I hope they don't charge extra for that.

That's Awesome!
My son had a daughter he didn't know about. They found each other when she was 19. Now I have another granddaughter and two greatgrand children.
Don't let the wife know what you spend on guns, ammo or cigars.
Congrats to you both. I found my birth family about 10 years ago and discovered I had 7 siblings. So cool to find family.
Congrats guys...I have never chosen to seek out my birth parents or potential family. Not that I am against meeting any of them, just never felt the need or desire to look for them.....
Never asked my dad the question for fear of this response...
I actually purchased my folks an anniversary card that effectively said "You can't blame me. I was your choice!" Thought it quite fitting...
I might be one of the only people in the country who prefers the spring forward day to the fall back day. I get to work an hour less tonight.
I like it just because everyone else complains about it......
I made my blanket longer by cutting off one end and sewing it to the other end.

Had to buy a new suit for an upcoming funeral. This is the first time I've ever spent $100 on a pair of pants. Crazy.

You're right. But then, there's the other 39 daily cigar emails.

Made a smoothie, and appt for the vaccine, and a time off request for the MKE Herf the last weekend in June.
Is the last weekend in June the firm date? @peter4jc
Yes.
I have spoken.
