I just saw a statistic that said that if you divide the national debt by the number of citizens, it's $98,600 per person. It's very hard not to just feel completely hopeless at this point regarding our current system, but as long as there's bread and circus nothing is going to change.

until congress passes laws that forbids congress from making any money other then their salary while in office and an 8 year term limit, these things will continue. Scanned the news this morning, looking for information on the "debate", which I didn't watch. As I expected, only the insiders are reported on, and the focus remains on revolving around The Donald.
Seems bizarre to me that the media, the 4th estate, is doing its dead level best to completely ignore the only potential candidate on that stage presenting fresh and innovative ideas for moving the country forward instead of orbiting the Orange Star. I'm talking about Doug Burgum, of course.
