She's a dumb fascist. Fascist, because she wants to "deprogram" citizens who would not vote for her. And she's dumb, because she said it out loud. That's something a smart fascist would keep quiet about.

And then, as if there'd been a plan, Hamas and Iranian backed Hezbollah suddenly have found the logistical necessities to attack Israel.

What the American people should be more concerned with is how many of these hamas and hezbollah types have entered this country thru the biden's administration open border policy.
Just wait, the aid that's gonna be requested through congress will have another aid package for Ukraine tied to it. You can guarantee that.

I visited New York in the fall of '79. This was during the Iran hostage crisis. I remember bootleg t-shirts being sold by street vendors that said "Nuke Iran". I remember seriously considering all the downstream outcomes to the crazy idea on that T-shirt. I remember thinking that the end results would make it worse for us in the long run. Now, I'm thinking it over all over again.
Thats bullshitt, i've been deployed to Saudi Arabia and Oman for extended periods and have spent time in Kuwait. The overwhelming majority of people are good people. You think they deserved to be nuked over small portion of the people who are radical?

The politicians on the right are talking real loud and pointing at the politicians on the left. Those on the left are loudly pointing at those on the right. They cannot hear each other because both their mouths are open and their ears are shut. All are always pretending that they are not hogs bellying up to the money trough.
For all our "sophistication" we are remarkably stupid.
"The horrors that Hamas has committed have not been witnessed since the hours of ISIS," Israeli Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu declared in a nationally televised address. "What we will do to our enemies in the coming days will reverberate with them for generations." The Israeli military has already activated 300,000 reservists in a massive mobilization, while the Pentagon has warned Iran and Lebanese terror group Hezbollah to "think twice" before opening another front to the war.
Defense stocks surged on Monday as the U.S. began delivering munitions to Israel, with Northrop Grumman (NOC), L3Harris (LHX), Huntington Ingalls (HII), Lockheed Martin (LMT) and General Dynamics (GD) finishing the session as the top five gainers in the S&P 500. The USS Gerald Ford aircraft carrier and accompanying war vessels have also been sent to the eastern Mediterranean, with the U.S. indicating it was prepared to come to Israel's defense and protect its interests in the region. Elsewhere, WTI crude oil (CL1:COM) pared its big gains following a "knee-jerk" surge reaction, but still remains elevated at $86/bbl, while U.S. stock indexes turned higher and Treasuries had their best day since March following the latest policy remarks from the Federal Reserve.

What was Hamas expecting would happen? What were they trying to accomplish? Answer those questions and we might get some insight into what Israel's response should be.
I always try to remind myself that Israel is not without sin, and if I viewed things through the eyes of a Palestinian I would certainly take issue w/ much of Israel's treatment of them. I also would expect that the average Palestinian hates Israel but is as an individual a decent person. That said, Israel isn't the nation that wants the other group exterminated. From what I gather, Israel is happy to co-exist, while their neighbors want Israel wiped off the map.
I don't believe for a minute that Hamas or Hezbollah are firing rockets and killing Israelis because they're upset about the living conditions in Gaza or the West Bank. They aren't retaliating; both organizations exist solely for the destruction of Israel. They don't want peace in the Middle East because they would cease to have a reason to exist.
Give back the occupied land in trade for hostage release; turn the water, electricity, food deliveries, in trade for peaceful dialog and a surrender of heavy weaponry with a an aim to avoid the rising spiral of retribution killing. Or get everyone to back off and watch them slaughter each other until no one is left. I don't know, what would Stubble do?
I'm going to support Netenyahu.
I will also keep training myself and my family in hopes the Native Americans and Mexicans don't pull off the same attacks to get back their occupied land.
People tend to forget how and why the land ended up in the hands of Israel. Remember this land was taken because they were attacked and continued to be attacked after it was taken. If you continue to punch and harass someone you can’t be surprised when they fight back and do what is needed to protect themselves. I have studied there and spent some quality time with both Palestinians and Israel’s and met some good people and pray that they can live in peace. That being said based on history Israel should beat them so bad they won’t be able to fight again for generations.
I know people can say the land was taken by Israel first when the UN set up the country again and created the 2 state setup which is a viable argument on whether the UN should have done so. But that is a conversation for another day. Just my 2 cents
I support both sides in their given right to defend themselves against the other. None of that should be our concern. What is our concern is the open border in the south where who knows who is coming across in the 10s of thousands every month.
Isreal is not innocent of their treatment of the Palestinians in the Gaza strip nor is Hezbollah innocent of their indiscriminate attacks of civilians.
