I have liked the Sumatra stuff I have had with Tat, if I get the chance to track some down I will. Thanks for the info and suggestion Nick. Each cigar may not fit everyone’s tastes but it’s worth trying at least. Hope you are doing a-ok and not getting too much weather down there, not sure if you’re going to see any increase with the hurricane, Sunni if you’re too far out or not.Post edited by 90+_Irishman on"When walking in open territory bother no one. From @Rolanddeschain Thanks Dave. Is there someone out there that can tell me what Viaje this is? It was super! Sorry if it’s hard to see from poor lighting.

Sketch,
He (Skel) was around for about a year, a couple years ago, then disappeared. His name was Shane and he lived in northern MN."I could've had a Mi Querida!" Nick Bardis3 -
He must have shut down his account. It doesn't even come up in predictive text when you type his name

Morning Brett, I found those ^ pretty good for a short filler, short smoke.
Drinking the last of my Nicaraguan before starting the lb. of Rwandan from @peter4jc. I roasted it a little darker than usual and looking forward to seeing how it compares to the city roast I usually shoot for with African beans.
About to fire up one of my favorites, a Kristoff Corojo Limitada Matador (6.5x56).3 -

@Sketch6995 Sorry to see that on the EE. How was the Las Calaveras? It’s the only one I haven’t tried due to poor reviews. Figured maybe they need some aging.0

Smoking a PG Meyer this morning. According to the Privada notes it is aged four years. I will say It’s very smooth and tasty.

Good morning everyone. Not really sure where I got this one. Cesar.
Pretty tasty, not bad at all. Not box worthy but decent smoke.

Morning WaterNerd, Sketch,
back from hauling trash/recycling to the transfer station, hauling back compost/dirt for the lawn reseeding project (once Florence makes it's u-turn over us Tuesday). Sure do love my station wagon, best compromise of all designs in my opinion.
edit: oh, I forgot this is a cigar thread-- about to fire up a JSK Toothpicks 2.0 robusto and hang the second load of laundry.
edit 2: and it gets the cbuck rating level of 'nice'.Post edited by silvermouse on9 -

Morning Edward and everyone. Kona coffee in the french press and a short torpedo Sobremesa from Chris @Yakster, thank you it’s very tasty 😋
Brett
EDIT: Really mellowed out and became very rich and full at the halfway point. My support a vet shirt and a great cigar.

Have time for one more this morning so I broke this guy out, purchased April 2012. Had a damaged cap that I had repaired but so far no issues whatsoever even after the cut with my Xikar, the pectin held it together.
6 years has really mellowed this out and the broadleaf is superb. Still has enough strength and pepper to be interesting and engaging but it doesn’t overshadow the core flavors of chocolate, cream, leather, nuts and a hint on the finish of cedar. Great cigar and really enjoying it.
