Family came out this weekend and my brother wanted to try some dark beers. He opened my fridge and saw evil twin even more jesus. A fantastic stout in its own right but certainly not a good choice for a virgins first real stout. He would not be talked out of it. Declined my offer to split the pint with him too. Poor little feller never stood a chance. He got through half and decided to chug the rest. He hadn't listened to me so far, so I decided to stay quiet and observe. 20 minutes later he's slurring through his deployment horror stories and the whole family is mortified. I love being the black sheep.8

Here's a new brew that our local brewery recently released. It is a triple IPA that comes in around 12.8%. It has a wonderful flavor. It is a nice beer to wind down a busy day. Probably not something to have before working in the shop

Three very different beers recently.
The La Cumbre porter was nothing special.
This Laguinitas Willettized I am enjoying now is really frickin good and will age well.
The Bamburana had so many flavors it was overwhelming.

I reorganized the beer closet, it's by manufacturer and year. Much of this will be consumed during the Milwaukee herf. Very much looking forward to that.
