I told my wife that too. An air purifier and an airtight door, which would be difficult. The door opening is 47 imches wide. For now I need an office more. Someday. Someday.

Frame out for small section of double pane glass then add the door.
Make door frame smaller to fit door.
Get custom sliding door made.

Well its definitely pink, I'm not thrilled, but Juliette is and loves it, so its worth it. She is finishing putting her stuff away now.

So it is 99% finished.
When we finally decide on a dishwasher, (she says, not her), then I can complete it.

When we redid our tiny kitchen we found one that was only 18" wide, perfect for two people. I never wanted one but now I love it (since I do clean up). Also it is so much quieter than the dishwashers of old.

Making some progress.
Sheathing on, getting the roof stuff slowly put on with the flashing and drip edges.
Once that is all done, then electrical and ventilation fan go in.

Day 2 of carpet install. Pro tip if you ever do this, never look at your subfloor. I just hope it was vomit and not pïss...

One thing I have started to do whenever I replace carpeting or flooring in a house is use a high quality shellac on the subfloor. It locks any smells and crap from coming back up and it helps protect the subfloor from future spills or other liquids. A word of warning though, have good ventilation and wear a respirator. It dissipates quickly but has a very potent smell on application.
