Hey Guys..I'm Bill from South Plainfield, NJ.. I ordered a sample pack of Nubs a few weeks ago and am about to purchase the cigar.com brand sampler today. I've been smoking for 5-6 years but really got more serious about it within the last year. I really don't have a preference in cigars...I really enjoy spoking different brands....Reading all these threads makes me want to purchase another humi and starting adding to my collection. This is a great site ..
Hey tank, welcome to our happy hideaway. I just went online and picked up another humidor, it seems the others are stuffed and I have another order on the way Yiikes ! I agree if you hang out here you can't help but pick up a few extras.

Hello Everyone. I had some issues with my forum account for some time. It appears to be working now. My name is Nick. I have a small 150 humidor with over fifty cigars and 20 different ones to try and find a favorite. So far, my favorites include Cusano 97, Gurkha Legend and Acid's Iced Tea. My wife bought me two Ashtons for my birthday and I was very disappointed for the price. I think I still enjoy the mild to medium and I have really enjoyed the cigar.com purple label. I am still looking for more favorites and samplers to add to my collection. Thanks.

Welcome aboard Sac. I hope you aren't storing those Acids in the same humi as your other cigars.

Welcome, Nick. Sounds like you're off to a good start. Samplers are a great way to get familiar with the many, many cigars on the market.

id say welcome to the zoo, but i feel that this is more like a bad 80's movie... that has a major focus on cigars.

i hope that didnt scare him away... this is why i stay out of these threads...

Hey Nick thanks for joining. Dude, whats taking you so long to fill that box up!! I just bought another Humidor to age more stuff in.. I can't smoke fast enough. Price is never a good indication of how much you will enjoy a cigar , but I do like Ashtons. ( and about a hundred others as well ) cigar.com cuban is really good too, try that one if you want some nice house blend.

Welcome aboard Nick! You might want to consider ccom's cigar of the month club also. Great way to try lots of top brands, and receive 10% off all your other cigar buys. Enjoy!

I haven't said anything yet, but welcome aboard all New-people! Here's the low-down:
    -Don't listen me
    -Listen and learn from Kuzi
-Don't talk about bugs with Madurofan
-Watch out for Ubino, he bites
-Capt is kind of a big deal around here
-Vince has the best weekly posts (oddly which are usually one long sentance... no offense Vince!)
    -Two words, Distilled water
-Buy Big, you'll know what this means soon enough
-Sarcasm and the ability to portray sarcasm through HTML is considered a skill

oh! And after 6 months or 200 posts (whichever comes first) to stay an active member and to NOT get prosocuted by Law for trespassing on these digital forum streets, you have to buy a Ghurka HMR... Demz da rulez!

I'd let alone that club just yet... We don't know where some of the newbies live and there are certain animal/human sex laws that are illegal in all forms in certain states. Ya know, for legal purposes

May I suggest a Arturo Fuentes.. Chateau Fuentes, as your next AF experience. Starts nice finishes better. And fairly low priced too. about three bucks and change.

Ok so I just made my first Newbie mistake. I guess I should have posted this here. so I am doing it again, correctly this time hopefully.Embarrassed [:$]

Hello all. I am new here, so I just thought I would throw a quick hello out to the community. I have been watching the forums for a couple of weeks, so I feel like I already know a few of you.

I am a new smoker, and I look forward to reading all the useful posts about all aspects of cigars. Hope to one day gain enough confidence from the community to be able to participate in a few trades and passes. I am currently putting away a few premium cigars for that eventuality.

    So Hello all.Big Smile <img src=" src="/cs/emoticons/emotion-2.gif">
